There’s a noticeable double standard among parts of the Sony community: they push for Xbox titles to release on PlayStation while insisting Sony’s games stay exclusive. Openness appears welcome only when it dilutes the competition. Too many Xbox fans have mirrored this flawed logic, pushing for everything everywhere at the expense of hardware differentiation and brand relevance. I’m open to a future without exclusives, but the playing field has to shift collectively, not unilaterally. Until that happens, I’ll continue supporting the unified Xbox, PC, and cloud ecosystem that delivers scale while preserving its identity.

@AesSilverFang01 @Tidus514 @JBishie Interesting point. I’ve also thought about this and would choose to ultimate get rid of GP. It doesn’t make financial sense. Considering as you mentioned, PC players prefer steam.

@Tidus514 @MarqToAim @JBishie To be fair GP wouldnt be loosing money if they had hit their desired target. Problem is PC players werent gonna help because they prefer steam and the only way to boost GP numbers is to sell consoles. Cant move massive amounts of consoles without exclusives.....

@AmericanTimdog Agreed, Tim. Either Xbox finally does the right thing by their fans, or I’m done with the brand. Xbox needs to regain its will to fight and reassert itself as player to be taken seriously in the space.

If Sony was like ok you can have TLOU remake id be open to it. Xbox is not returning to Xbox if they put Halo on PlayStation or say this is the last and only one. They need to understand energy and posturing. People want a comeback story they want Xbox to stand up for itself. It’s literally not hard at all to understand. I’m out if they do the same shit. Asha is all set up and she either takes the bull by its horns or she does the same old Xbox. I have a feeling she will come to the right decision. I know I will send her the most valuable info she can ever get from a legitimate hardcore fan that cares about its fan. I don’t care about Xbox anymore I literally only care about the good people within the community. That’s why I’m gonna press this and do all I can do. If the don’t want us I don’t want them but I will be “we”. Simple concepts always are the best way to handle things imo

@Adri_Mul @JBishie The aforementioned people were EMPLOYED at MS. Why wouldn’t they have that mindset? Do YOU work for PS? The only thing you as a consumer should ever concern yourself with is getting a good deal/value. Why do you want LESS options as a CONSUMER? That’s the real question.

@TCMF2 The PS5 pro is 1K. Unless PS planning to reduce the price one year after hiking the price in the first place (I highly doubt that) that doesn’t make sense. Additionally, how can you be certain Asha isn’t willing to slash the cost to be more aggressive with PS?

@AmericanTimdog They’re definitely regaining loss ground. Hopefully Xbox stays true to their word & brings back exclusives permanently. It can go two ways. Either they bring back exclusives & fight, or do nothing and basically hand the keys over to Sony. Let’s see how it goes.

@methos75 @aarongreenberg It’s not about forsaking anyone, it’s about returning to what they resembled during the Xbox 360/OG Xbox era. In order for that to be a viable option, exclusive games are needed. Admittedly, game-pass is a problem as it hinders sales. They’d need to figure that out.

@MarqToAim @aarongreenberg What is a Xbox fan at this point? The minuscule consumerbase that buys Xbox consoles and then doesn't buy games? Or is it the vastly larger PC and PS5 base that is buying Xbox published games? Do you forsake the many to chase the few?

@B1gDaddyMarv I agree. Game-pass is a huge hindrance to sales performance. Personally, I do not use the service and prefer to own my games. Xbox has to make strides in the lack of physical releases. I attribute this to games being release in GP.

I love seeing people get to play games they otherwise wouldn't have. But I also want to see Xbox stick around and keep making hardware. I think they need to have exclusives to give people a reason to buy Xbox. So, here is what I would do. ▪️All live service games stay multiplat. Forza, Diablo, Sea of Thieves, etc. Except Halo. Halo is the goat, and I'd keep all Halo games on Team Green. ▪️Anything that is not live service is exclusive. Elder Scrolls 6, Gears of War E-day, etc. Only on Xbox. ▪️Anything that has yet to ship, I would align with the above. So, Halo Campaign Evolved and Fable, I would cancel the PlayStation versions. Forza would continue on with Team Blue. ▪️Slash prices on Series X/S before your big games hit this year. Entice players still on last-gen hardware to choose your ecosystem when making the jump to current gen.

@ZamorianMog @VGC_News I personally think gamepass was an awful addition to introduce. I understand the concept as an idea, but it’s not sustainable overall.

@MarqToAim @VGC_News Agree. Problem is Xbox broke their sustainability with the heavy emphasis in the service model, now their users barley buy games. Plus the Activision Blizzard acquisition which games used to be across all platforms, hard to reduce it to Xbox users only. Really difficult scenario.
