Community Engagement Team attended Southport Flower Show 2025 with Victim Care and Neighbourhood Watch. We offered crime prevention advice and support to victims of crime. Children tried police uniform on and sat in the police car. Great day meeting lots of lovely people.

Yesterday we hosted our 8th Police Race Action Plan meeting at the PAL Multicultural Centre 👏 We welcomed guest speakers @Joanna_Abeyie, @createbluemoon ,Colin Burton, Chair of National Community Reference Group, our Professional Standards Department & our Language Hub.

This week the CEU have attended at John Moore's university and the University of Liverpool. We talked about home security. We met with many students and gave lots of security advice. Thanks to both universities for allowing us to attend @LivUni @johnmooressu @MerPolSthLpool

It was great to support a panel of Junior Travel Ambassadors from Blackhorse Hill Junior school. We ran a kids court at this location today and spoke with drivers to provide education on how to use our roads safely and increase safety to pedestrians and other road users.

Officers from the Community Engagement Unit are proud to support white Ribbon Day, an international campaign that aims to end violence against women and girls. Officers joined our partners and survivors on a walk around Birkenhead Park.

The CEU along with hub 5 have today finished a week long engagement with the City of Liverpool College. We have attended 6 classes across 3 sites. We have continued to focus on Knife Crime and the impact within our communities. Thanks for supporting this @COLCollege

Today Merseyside Police CEU along with hub5 have attended the city of Liverpool college and had talks in relation to personal safety and knife crime. We answered lots of questions and discussed the important subject of Knife crime and the impact within communities. @COLCollege

Today the CEU in company with LP Hub 5 attended the Chinese Wellbeing Event outside Chung Wah - Hardy Street. Local community partners were in attendance providing free health checks/advice. It was lovely to speak to local members of the Chinese Community.

Officers from the CEU/hub 4 have attended at ST Charles Catholic Primary School @KINDLiverpool . We talked about how to contact the police, how to stay safe and stop and search. We then tried police uniform and kit before all having a sit in the police car @MerPolSthLpool

Officers from the Community Engagement Unit attended a family fun day at Birkenhead Park. It was great to meet local children and their families. Children enjoyed dressing up and sitting in the police van.

Officers from the Community Engagement Team joined our Emergency Services Partners on World Drowning Prevention Day 2024 to raise awareness on how to stay safe near open water and how to keep others safe. @MerseyFire @RNLI @HMCoastguard

On Saturday the Community Engagement Unit teamed up with the Liverpool Bame Community Network to deliver an afternoon workshop with the young people. We attended @Kuumba_Imani and talked all afternoon. Thank you for inviting us we had a great time meeting everyone.

Constable Laura attended @MendellPrimary for a careers event. It was lovely to meet the children and hear about their plans for the future.

Today the Community Engagement Unit have visited Mencap Cottage Sefton Liverpool. What a fantastic engagement were we talked about online safety and tried on police uniform. We love attending thank you @mencap_charity

Constable Laura attended SSPP New Brighton to view their exhibit A Curriculum of Hope. Pupils have produced some fantastic work all about climate change, protecting our waters & saving the planet. They have also been involved in projects such as litter picks & beach clean ups.

On Saturday Constable Fenna attended the Wirral wellness event in Birkenhead park. The event focused on mental health and wellbeing within our communities, supported by Officers from Bebington Local Policing team. What a fantastic event
