As part of knife crime week of action Op Sceptre, PCSO'S Neil & Nannan attended Childwall Valley Primary school & Belle Vale Primary School & we delivered two knife crime presentations to the year 6 pupils at each school.

Today as part of Op Sceptre PCSO'S Neil & Mike attended two further schools Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Primary school & St Paschal Baylon Catholic Primary School & delivered knife crime presentations to the year 5 & 6 pupils.

CHARGED | A man has been charged after a teenage girl was shot in the legs in Toxteth last month. At around 12.55am on Thursday 12 March, armed officers were called to Lime Grove, off Lodge Lane, after reports that a 17-year-old girl had been injured in a shooting inside a residential property. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged. An investigation has been ongoing and yesterday (Wednesday 15 April) a 20-year-old man from Liverpool was arrested. Ali Karadas, 20, of Denman Drive has now been charged with: Section 18 - wounding with intent. Possess a firearm of length less than 30cm/60cm - prohibited weapon. Karadas has been remanded in custody to appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court today, Thursday 16 April.
