Moses sees the backside of God and his face glowed the rest of his life and had to cover himself with a veil. Exodus 34:29, 33, 35 NLT [29] When Moses came down Mount Sinai carrying the two stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant, he wasn’t aware that his face had become radiant because he had spoken to the Lord. [33] When Moses finished speaking with them, he covered his face with a veil. [35] and the people of Israel would see the radiant glow of his face. So he would put the veil over his face until he returned to speak with the Lord. God has to use angels as his messengers because humans can't deal with seeing him directly at all. Exodus 33:20 NLT [20] But you may not look directly at my face, for no one may see me and live.” God sends himself as man to speak to us directly. John 10:30 NLT [30] The Father and I are one.” Joseph Smith ignores all of this in the Bible and says he saw God and Jesus. LOL

Haters call it demonic, but I know this to be true: 14-year-old Joseph Smith walked into the woods, prayed, and actually saw and talked with God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. Because this is true, it changes everything about how seriously we red to take Joseph Smith—and this event shows us how seriously heaven takes us

Because we were expecting Darth Fucking Vader and not trade disputes, gungans, cgi schlock, midchlorians, a kid saying yipee, blowing up the half ass death star on accident, and on and on. Rogue one is by far the best prequel to the OT there is and only because of the Vader scene at the end. We wanted to see Vader's turn to the dark side, we wanted to see him in his prime kicking ass and securing the Empire. There was as much Vader in Episodes I-III as there is in Rogue One. How the fuck did anyone think that was a good idea?!?! There was more heart and story in the original 3 films. Seeing the Phantom Menace opening weekend and realizing it wasn't amazing but merely ok if not kind of shitty was infuriating after waiting soooo long. The best parts of the Phantom Menace were duel of the fates, the Darth Maul fight on Naboo and the Pod Racing. The rest of the movie was mostly ass.

LDS members are overall very nice and good hardworking kind people. That said they arent Christian. These can both be true. Mormons don't like that they aren't actually Christian and Christians are annoyed that the LDS members are ridiculously kind, hard working and Christian like people but feel they have been misled by a false prophet.

Anti‑Mormon discourse online: ‘They’re all controlled and can’t think for themselves!’ My actual Ward congregation: engineers, nurses, teachers, law enforcement, converts, lifers—all wrestling with God in their own way and still choosing Christ every week. Us Mormons are regular people choosing to follow Christ and worship Him to best of our ability. If that bothers you, then that’s a “you” problem

Snape described as sallow and greasy haired. He is the half blood prince. (lol at the pureblood half blood stuff when you cast a black guy) Snape wants to be the defense against the dark arts professor. (Dark arts and black guy again lol) Snape makes potions (Black guy making purple drank and drugs...LOL) Snape was bullied by his classmates (white kids picking on a black kid, no racism overtones there) Lily was white (Black and white couple where she went with James over the ugly greasy Snape who is now a black guy) By casting him as a black guy it actually makes him a racist caricature and they will have to remove more of his characterization to look LESS racist than if they'd just cast him book accurate instead.

What was the threat? That he took a relaxed position with his hands in his pockets and said "You should leave this county, these people are my friends are you're being ugly"? Or was it before, when the trans lawyer just screamed at him while he was addressing the judge and interrupted him and then got annoyed the DA yelled back at her idiocy? What was the actual or implied threat if the trans lawyer didn't leave the county? You should wear sunscreen in this county, I have a lot of friends that agree with me. OMG IS THAT A THREAT? HE'S THREATENING ME WITH SKIN CANCER!!!

Trans-identified female lawyer berates judge, pulls trans card, gets found in contempt, resists arrest, screams “I can’t breathe,” and yells for people to call 911 as she’s fighting police. Absolutely glorious performance. Women should not take testosterone.

The only companies that give an actual fuck about their employees are the small ones (Under 100 employees max) and even then it isn't like they are ride or die. Just that laying people off in a small company means it is going under. If you're salaried never EVER put in over 45 a week on a regular basis unless you're getting profit sharing or options.

I've been called antisemitic for saying I dont care about Jews or Israel. Not caring means you apparently hate them and want them dead... It is all so tiresome. The worst thing that could ever happen to Jews is for people to ignore and stop listening to them and call them out when they do shady shit like everyone else gets called out.

Nephi isn't scripture, as it isn't in the bible. It is Mormon fan fiction John 10:16 is Jesus addressing the Pharisees implying that the other sheep are Gentiles. That not only Jews but Gentiles are allowed into heaven. Using your logic why wouldn't Jesus appear everywhere or in the sky for all to see speaking in all languages at the same time? Why just one spot in the Americas, never mind if it was North or South and what tribe and where? Why not Europe? Australia? Deep Africa? China? Japan?

Jesus is Savior of the WHOLE WORLD—not just a corner of the Middle East. He straight-up said: “Other sheep I have, which are NOT of this fold: them also I must bring… one fold, one shepherd.” Then He shows up in the Americas and tells them point-blank: “Ye are the other sheep of whom I spoke.” (3 Nephi 15:21) So you think an omnipotent, resurrected God who conquered death was too weak or too lazy to visit His scattered children on another continent? Mind-boggling isn’t the doctrine—it’s thinking the infinite Creator limits Himself to one tiny region while ignoring billions of His kids. Who’s really shrinking God here? Prove me wrong without twisting scripture. #BookOfMormon #JesusChrist #OtherSheep #LDS #ComeUntoChrist

You're not asking that. You're trying to do some retarded argument that since the New Testament was written after Jesus died that means those are NEW revelations (they are not) and that being written after he died is magically a pass for anything even if it was 1800 years later and it totally contradicts the scripture in the New Testament. I've given you multiple sites and examples explaining why Mormonism is wrong. Your argument legit doesn't address those points so I'm done discussing with you. I can explain it to you, but I can't make you understand it.

If we want to get technical, Latter-day Saints are not traditional Christians. They are restorationist Christians, seeking to restore the faith practiced by Christ’s earliest followers. Traditional Christianity is defined largely by creeds formulated centuries after Christ walked the earth. Latter-day Saints don’t affirm those creeds. That’s a feature, not a bug. If your definition of a Christian is a follower of Jesus Christ, Latter-day Saints are Christian. If your definition requires affirming creeds developed long after the New Testament, they don’t fit that category. Who gets included or excluded depends entirely on which definition you choose.

🚨 BREAKING: Incredible moment as Nick Shirley reveals his Christian faith ensures he does the right thing "Even when I went on my mission trip, I was still making videos interviewing people about Jesus in Spanish." "I had returned back from a two-year mission for my church and I had zero dollars. So I when I came home back from that trip, I worked for an entire month I power washed houses and my goal was to make ten thousand dollars in cash." "Then I then took that ten thousand dollars in cash and use that to funnel my YouTube channel for the first three months until I could actually make a profit." "More so than anything [my faith] kept me on the straight and narrow and it's kept me on a good path." @nickshirleyy 🙏🏻

A book written after Christ's ascension isn't the issue here and not what is being argued except by you. You keep insisting that when the book is written is the same as new revelations. That Matthew or John writing a book after Jesus ascended is a 'new revelation.' That is your straw man. I'm saying the revelation that Jesus is God in the flesh is the FINAL revelation there is. That is the point of the new testament. That Jesus was God on Earth and humanity has been saved by the grace of God. It is the entire point of Christianity, you can't be a Christian if you believe in prophets after Jesus because it implies that Jesus isn't God and didn't tell us all what is needed to be saved.

@MuchoGrumpy @TeeplesCY One of the reasons you gave for claiming that we are "not followers of Christ" is that we "think there were more revelations from God after Christ". The entire NT was written AFTER Christ. That is objectively true. Logic is chasing you, my friend, but you seem to be faster.

Lets say we entertain your assertion, what specific revelations and where in the New Testament leaves room for new prophets and revelations about God's will that Jesus didn't cover? The New Testament is literally about the final revelation, but you think that is moving the goal posts. It is clear though, that you don't understand this basic tenant of Christian thought.

@MuchoGrumpy @TeeplesCY "and what his apostles wrote down" - this is you conceding that I am right that there were many revelations received AFTER Christ. It is also a pitiful attempt to shift the goalposts. There is a lot of doctrine in the NT that Christ never mentions in the gospels.

So Jesus went to Europe, Asia and Australia and Africa after the resurrection too? Funny how it isn't mentioned about him doing this before he ascended. What tribes did he visit? Where in the Americas? Joseph Smith wrote bible fan fiction. That is the easiest way to explain Mormonism.

It is not for me to say who is in heaven or hell. I can only hope for him that he was truly repentant and is in heaven, like I hope for everyone who finds and follows Jesus. It is only through the grace of God that we are saved. Our faith and acts alone do not save us. Jesus spent a lot of time talking about this very issue. People to this day are still angry about it. Specifically that those that are the 'worst' of us are still worthy of God's love and grace if they ask for it, repent and believe. That you were a good Christian your whole life is the same value to God as one who finds God on his deathbed. It makes no difference, it is why following Jesus is so powerful and such an act of divine love for us all. The best we can do is try our hardest to be worthy of that gift and encourage others to find and follow Jesus.
