Two new statues, “Jesus Christ Carrying the Cross” and “Jesus Christ in Gethsemane,” have debuted on the south side of the Salt Lake Temple. Visitors can view the statues from a distance as the statues are in an area of Temple Square still under construction.
Their placement comes at a meaningful time of year, the Easter season, which holds profound significance for Christians around the world as they commemorate the final week of Jesus Christ's life, culminating in His Resurrection.

@RestoredLife100 Grateful for multiple witnesses of the divinity of Christ!
English

@jmbrim3 Oh really?? I never knew that, that’s interesting.
Haha they suck!! But it was a fun game to go to.
English

@RestoredLife100 They used to be our Arizona coyotes 😭
Glad you have them!
English

@jmbrim3 Yep!!
And the grizzlies are the minor league team. My wife and I saw them a couple weeks ago.
English

@RestoredLife100 Woah that’s awesome! Wait is the Mammoths your new team?
English

@RestoredLife100 I KNOW these blessings come from Heavenly Father, to the Patriarch, to you! Things in my blessing are very personal, even though my patriarch had no idea who I was.
Each of my girls has personal things in theirs. I've seen things come to pass in the lives of 2 of them.
Big hugs!

@Latterdaytruth Whether it’s harmful or not isn’t really the point. The question is whether banning it works. We already tried that, and it didn’t stop people from drinking.
This conversation is getting nowhere. Have a good one.
English

@RestoredLife100 I'm willing to try again. Alcohol is a widely accepted poison
English

@Latterdaytruth Prohibition was widely supported too and it still failed.
English

@RestoredLife100 It would need mass approval... Which we are getting closer to
English

@Latterdaytruth You’re asking the same question different ways. The outcome doesn’t change. Bans don’t remove demand, they create black markets and push things underground where it’s more dangerous and unregulated.
English

@Latterdaytruth That’s exactly what prohibition was. Production, sale, and consumption were all illegal. It didn’t stop alcohol, it just created black markets and made enforcement nearly impossible.
English

@RestoredLife100 What if you ban production, sale, marketing, and consumption?
English

@Latterdaytruth Making consumption illegal doesn’t remove demand. It just turns ordinary people into criminals and drives the behavior underground, where it’s harder to control and regulate.
English

@Latterdaytruth Prohibition didn’t stop alcohol. It just created black markets. When there’s demand, bans don’t erase it, they move it underground. You see similar contradictions today. Chicago has strict gun laws but still deals with serious gun violence. Laws alone aren’t the solution.
English

@RestoredLife100 I think it's worth trying again. I just know we would eliminate so many problems if we could get rid of alcoholic drinks
English

@joooooody777 I will fast lunch and breakfast that day!
English

@RestoredLife100 It's the BEST!
go fasting
don't worry about memorizing everything they will type u a copy 😀
English

@RestoredLife100 What a wonderful day that will be!
