My take on the current hot topic of simming: I don't care what people do on their own time to complete an ultimate. I do think it cheapens the prog experience a bit, but if they just want to minimize time spent getting the reward then go for it. Literally doesn't affect me.

Start with Remake. Go on to Rebirth. Finish with Revelation. You’ll be fine.
And if you like the world enough, go check out the original.
Whether it’s a sequel or a remake, the 7R series is self-contained and can be enjoyed well enough with no prior knowledge.

As an outsider, I've never truly understood the appeal of Final Fantasy but I am very close to finally caving and checking out the FF7 Remakes. This is an almost irresistible deal.

"OG FFVII didn't need a remake." No, it didn't *NEED* a remake. But guess what? The creators WANTED one. They wanted us to see their vision, their art, and how they would improve and detail their story if they had the experience and technology back then that we have today.

hydrate, rest, very light active recovery via slow controlled stretching. ..then ice ice baby, you can incorporate heat as well and rotate between heat and cold. sometimes heat can feel good but prolong actual recovery so use it cautiously and intentionally. you can ice yourself as much as you can handle it won’t make anything worse. if you can resist taking ibuprofen or naproxen do so, taking them will also prolong recovery and NSAID can also inhibit your muscle gains. if you really need pain relief try tylenol as it is just an analgesic.

kinda losing drive for the gym. i’m not some larper who pretends i’m doing it cause it’s like nietzschean or for hitlеr or something, i did it cause i wanted to be loved (🤡🤡🤡) no amount of beef and rice is gonna get me there. nine years in it’s clearly not the difference maker
i’d feel way worse about myself if my physique regressed so i’m stuck with this shit now but it really feels like i wasted all my time for something which gave me basically nothing

@Kitkat53351 @sammylee_0 Technically full development on the game of 15 didn't start proper till like mid to late 2012 And upper management set a strict deadline for 2016 because originally it was meant to be versus 13. That was in development hell for 10 years before it got scrapped with 15.

@RoseMarieAnon I feel like thats the nature of remakes in general. The ones where they only tweak some things and update the graphics, but keeps it more or less in line with original are remasters.

I blame those wretched Final Fantasy VII 'remakes' for giving people this idea that a game can't be a remake unless it completely changes the structure and mechanics.

The OOT remake is - the first zelda game exclusively on Switch 2 - the first true remake of a 3D Zelda game - a remake of the most critically acclaimed video game of all time as well as one of the most iconic ones and people seriously think Nintendo are gonna half ass it, lol

In Path of Exile 2, a single crab enemy has become one of the deadliest monsters in the game, ranking third in total player kills.
This is caused by a bug. The crab appears during special events in the current league. If the crab dies while in the middle of an attack and a player is standing very close, the game incorrectly makes it fire a huge number of projectiles almost instantly.
The issue is especially serious in Hardcore mode, where a character is permanently lost upon death.
The developers have confirmed they know about the problem and are working on a fix.

If I was a better writer, what would be a cool idea for a horror game is for it to be just like this. You spend the whole game thinking God and His angels are evil, destroying your civilization, you can't fight the angels, all you can do is hide. And as you progress more info about your own civilization is made to you about their evil and immoral practices and history. At the end there is a Job moment where God reveals He's given your civilization 500 years to repent of its evil, sending prophets warning of the coming wrath which your people killed and you realize God wasn't the evil one, your people were and they fought against every offer of mercy or repentance and you learn that His judgment was just.
