@ProfNoctis My favorite part of any game is just existing in that world and being present. My hot take is that not enough people appreciate this or indulge in it or even see value in it.

Sometimes the view is so nice you gotta stop playing and RP walk the beach. Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is such a vibe.

@ProfNoctis That’s brilliant I’m imagining in another life, Noctis is a professor but instead of his students arriving late, he’s the one oversleeping and coming in to start the lectures late Yeah I love FFXV for that reason and it’s coming of age into not just adulthood but also kinghood

Noctis truly is the best protagonist in the whole series.

So it’s an interesting story. While I was teaching my class on kingship and Final Fantasy 15, my worst student woke up and forgot my name. He called me “professor Noctis.” so while he may have failed the class, he gave me a great username. Beyond that, though, I love his coming of age story. He is thrust into a near impossible situation and yet with the help of his friends and mustering his own resolve, he’s able to learn to walk tall. It has far reaching implications for real world development, and I just really identified with that. And I curate that experience for my students through the game as well.

@ProfNoctis I asked my mom for a ps3 just for this game. Ended up buying 13 since it came out first of course and loved it, bought it with money I saved. By the time 15 came out I lost all interest even after playing the demos. Still haven't done so🥲
