From 2021 when they were both in their first title reigns, I believe. Such cool footage. Volk playing around Yan's high guard, Yan tracking and cutting him off/punishing his exits, great clinch work from both.

I think Movsar and Garry are respectable punchers, actually. Movsar, weirdly, hurts everyone he fights at least once. Garry too. Neither of them are good finishers, though.

Yan is less structured (when he's not locked the fuck in for Merab 2), but has a toolbox so insane that he *can* solve any matchup on the fly.

@JackSlackMMA Yup, also true. Would occasionally have a performance where he seemed totally chill, and would take damage just fine. Got nailed quite a few times by Hunt in their second fight, and was largely okay?
