Idk I guess Platner is still the favorite but there's a tipping point between "this guy is a little rough around the edges" (and maybe that makes him "authentic" scare quotes extremely necessary there) vs. "this guy is just a toxic dude".

Nantucket’s Unitarian Church has canceled its annual Fourth of July celebration, which traditionally includes a reading of the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights, in an act of political protest. The flash density product really shows this anomalous "flash" which is pretty distinctive of a bolide/meteor reentry. east of Boston. This is the likely source of the loud boom/explosion.
