SpaceX lost $5 billion last year. xAI is burning through money. The structure of this IPO is wild: The public gets Class A shares (1 vote per share). Elon holds Class B super shares (10 votes per share), retaining ~82% total voting control. The prospectus explicitly states he cannot be removed as head of SpaceX without his own consent. SpaceX has become a massive gravity well. Passive index funds are forced to absorb it, day traders will try to flip it, and macro believers are treating it like a long term venture fund. As Andrew phrased it, this is 'a lottery ticket on Elon Musk and his ability to execute, priced entirely on where this company will be in 20 years and that is a massive guessing game.' The math doesn't matter.
