The goal/idea of a successful season for CBJ CANNOT be to make the playoffs, and maybe eventually win a round. This explains the perpetual mediocrity.
The goal is the cup. Rebuild consequently. Fully.

@TheBlueJunkies @trent_weather I agree. Most non-locals thought that this would be another transition yr and didn't expect playoffs. The jump from rebuild to playoffs is the hardest part, it takes time. The offseason will be very interesting, hoping for Bones, a scoring winger and a tough D.
