I will always miss the good ole days when Nigeria made so much sense.
We didn't need to have worried about high cost of food items—most homes had enough to eat and give away.
You can literally travel to any part of the country any time any day with your full chest —you are safe.
Only the rich and mighty own generators because the Nigerian Electricity Power Authority (NEPA) was giving us light without apologies.
Yet we complained incessantly.
If only we knew that the main shege was in front!
It will never be well with the people wey spoil this country for us!

Fantastic!!!!
I remember the last meeting President Donald Trump has with all the witches and wizards in America.
America's security is in their hands especially since Trump created ministry of sorcery to take care of insecurity.
Edo State is definitely on the right path.
All these incapable military should step aside.
Na sacrifices and incantations we dey do now!!

Akpabio has the power to turn things around in Nigeria.
Tinubu shouldn't carry all the blames alone.
Akpabio is also culpable.
The Senate President might seem lower than the President but he has so much power too.
He is like the number 3 man in the country and that is a very powerful position very capable of transforming this country.
Unfortunately, na excuses upon excuses we dey see.
You didn't promise us miracles, then step aside for a miracle-worker to take over.
Simple!!!

“We did not promise you miracles” — Akpabio tells Nigerians

@instablog9ja Akpabio has the power to things around.
Let's normalise not blaming Tinubu alone at all times.
The Senate President might seem lower than the President but he has so much power too.
It's really a pity.

@jon_d_doe Talk is cheap!!! E fit be political gimmick. Nigerian politicians are "marvelous".

Rufai Oseni: “You keep criticizing President Tinubu over the removal of fuel subsidy. What would you have done differently?”
Peter Obi: “I never criticized President Tinubu for removing the fuel subsidy. In fact, I have always maintained that I would have removed it as well, but in a more organized and strategic manner.
I would not have announced its removal on inauguration day. My first step would have been to engage stakeholders and operators in the petroleum sector, knowing fully well that there are significant irregularities and corruption surrounding the subsidy regime.
The subsidy would still be removed to establish the actual amount being spent and to address issues related to exchange rate deregulation. However, these reforms must go hand in hand with a serious fight against corruption.
The key question is: since the subsidy was removed, what tangible benefits have ordinary Nigerians seen? Despite the removal, the country has continued to borrow heavily, even more than it did when the subsidy was still in place.”
-Presidential candidate, peter Obi

Exactly the leader Nigeria needs right now to recover from all the trauma it has underwent for decades.

Enugu Ashawos are running helter skelter now as some Enugu women are currently on a protest against pro.stitutes in their community!
Once again, I pity our country!
In 2026, this what makes it to the news.
Ashawo protest!
You won't see protest for something reasonable like bad governance or insecurity.
Did those oloshos fall from the sky?
No!
Probably born by the same women carrying placard!
Reformation starts from the home.
Begin with showing good examples to your children.
Apply precautionary and corrective measures before it gets to the stage of carrying placards shouting "Ashawo must go" in broad daylight!

When you're angry with your wife, and you raise your voice at her, what is she most likely to do?
She would grab any of your children and starts to shed tears or acting up.
Then your children will start to see you as a wicked daddy.
That's how it starts.
But I believe this is nature playing out in marriage.
Just because you don't want to be seen as a "wicked" father or husband, doesn't mean that you should not act when it's appropriate to do so.
You're the head of the home.
And for women, it should always be a "carrot and stick" approach.
Otherwise, anything you allow, will become the norm.
So there you have it.
Until you're mature, your mother will forever be a saint.
End.
