Follow-up: this guy 👇🏾 owns the centre. He reports TWO cars have fallen into the hole and they have logged more than 100 (ONE HUNDRED) calls to have it repaired since November when it was dug up.

The Douglasdale pothole that went viral after Helen Zille was filmed snorkelling in it has burst again. The issue relates to a recurring pipe leak in the same location, which has been repaired multiple times. Previous repairs have reportedly included temporary measures, such as metal clamps, which may not provide a long-term solution. The situation has raised ongoing concerns around infrastructure maintenance and recurring faults in the area. #KayaNews MP

@IanCameron23 @Treasury_RSA My biggest question is why are these people still employed when clearly incompetent? In the private sector a boo boo of R10k will cost you your job.

The current head of supply chain management in SAPS was working at @Treasury_RSA and helped facilitate the process (similar to having chaired the bid adducation committee that allowed Cat Matlala access to SAPS), after which he became the divisional commissioner of supply chain in SAPS. Bheki Cele, Senzo Mchunu and the current acting police minister Feroz Cachalia were all briefed (the first 2 by the @RSASIU), yet he remains. (Not even mentioning senior management of @SAPoliceService) We brought it up in @ParliamentofRSA through the police portfolio committee with the @AuditorGen_SA, but still no action from SAPS or the ministry. The said general was even questioned in the adhoc committee, but still remains…. So when does oversight get taken seriously? Our committee will not be a rubber stamp for corruption. Something has got to give.

We got the flu vaccines in at the practice so I gave it to all my admin staff. And me? I had to vaccinate myself 😭 it was so rough trying to get my brain to tell my hands that I wasn’t trying to hurt myself 😂
