I am completely lost watching the new season of Jujutsu Kaisen. I literally have to rewatch every show that drops a new season cause my memory is ruined. Like a cracked egg. Dripping memory yolk all over. Ugh

I'm not a Catholic, but I’m praying for my Catholic brothers and sisters today. We cannot tolerate a foreign policy that results in Christians anywhere in the world being denied the ability to go to church, especially on Palm Sunday. We opposed it when our own government shut down churches during COVID, and we should oppose it when our supposed ally does it in the name of security.

Our youth then goes on believing the skewed self hating version of events, & eventually history is then changed, our past viewed w/ contempt because “white man bad” today Take Christopher Columbus’s treatment vs Genghis Khan. One is loved , one despised. Who was worse? B honest

Always with a purpose of rewriting history. & because of the insular echo chamber, schools use these modern authors to teach our youth. Because “progress” is better. “Those ancients couldn’t possibly know more than us. They’re primitive, archaic!, outdated.”

The new season of “Hells Paradise” is going to be ill. Re watching the 1st season to get myself caught up, and remember better - and Wow. I can’t believe I forgot how great it was. All around phenomenal stuff.

My baby, Xienny the cat, passed away this morning in her sleep. She was 18 years old and provided love and friendship to me and my mom for 10 years. I was so lucky to have spent time with her and she was amazing. Lasting 6+ more years than what the vets at the shelter expected her to when we rescued her. Over the past month it was clear that her time was coming soon but she held on and tried to keep going until the end which allowed for me and my mom to accept the realities of everything slowly even though we cried and felt our hearts sink multiple times. Xienny will always be loved and I will never forget her and the moments we had. Thank you Xienny @mikasa4231 @JasusTD89 @JuliaSassybaker

@LPNH If America was a holy roman empire style "nation" with regional kings (smaller than states, maybe 100 of them instead of 50) and one elected monarch the world would be a better place.

A line of kings would at least plausibly be better for liberty than a modern liberal democracy.

I in fact do not “trust the plan,” especially when the exact plan is never coherently articulated. The idea that we should reserve criticism of our elected leaders on the vague assumption that there must be some sort of “plan” that we mere mortals don’t understand is just embarrassing. How did “trusting the plan” work during COVID? How has it ever worked?
