As a school administrator, I navigate how to support kids with self regulation challenges. Today, my offer to a kiddo returning from suspension was to come to see me 10 minutes before each recess for a while to chat, play cards, whatever! Connection is key. Relationships 1st.

I’m experiencing social media fatigue, busy schedules, constant stimulation things starting to feel forced and I’m noticing myself slipping into this feeling of time scarcity making me feel I need to quicken the pace and rush through life because of the demands of everyday life. My nervous system is telling me I’m close to being overwhelmed. I have less tolerance for clutter, rushing & pressure. I’m tired of climbing mountains daily . I need a reset. I need less noise, less input & more stillness. Going to take a short break & return to quiet honest beauty in living more simply 🙏🌼

I left my ex husband 30 years ago. I've rarely thought about him since then but recently I decided to look at his social media. I was shocked and dismayed at how much hatred I felt. I have more healing to do regarding him because I don't want to hate anybody.

Today is a day I'm so grateful for. Terry Fox's brother Fred came to recognize our school for outstanding fundraising efforts. As a kid, my dad would drop me off to run The Terry Fox Run by myself. Terry was my hero. Meeting Fred & hearing stories, will stay with me forever. 💙🙏

Having a front row seat to my mother-in-law and sister-in-law bully my husband has shown me my own personal growth. I am very proud of myself for showing as much restraint as I have, including staying in my lane & letting him handle the situation.

@brianmaierhofer Yes. Healing is an active process. I have found I am finally able to enjoy somatic movement. I was locked in a freeze for years. It took me two years of walking to finally move to mobility and light strength movement.

I went to an extraordinary conference/experience this weekend in Austin. I’m proud of myself. My estrogen patch isn’t absorbing, I gained an absurd amount of weight in little time, I’ve got more pain, and I wanted to hide. But I didn’t!
