The Iranian regime executed a 19 year old for demanding democracy. I stand with his memory and the thousands of other young Iranians. Those who grieve the elimination of Iranian leaders over murdered protesters is telling.
Masih Alinejad 🏳️@AlinejadMasih

Today, in Iran, in the middle of a war, the regime executed a 19-year-old national wrestling champion for the crime of joining January protests. 💔 After signaling to the world, including President @realDonaldTrump, that they would halt executions of protesters, the regime has done the exact opposite. Three young protesters, Saleh Mohammadi, Mehdi Ghasemi, and Saeed Davoudi, were hanged in Qom after a sham trial. Reports indicate torture. Forced confessions. No access to chosen lawyers. Closed-door proceedings. No right to appeal. I call on @GlobalAthleteHQ to stand with Iranian athletes who are being silenced, imprisoned, and executed simply for raising their voices. This is not just about sports. This is about human dignity.

@digitalfoundry The bigger problem you have is John saying he hates AI and everything about it. How can DF not be bias if that's stated so clearly then you post this? You did your initial reactions and it was excited. Don't apologize or play to the angry mob because of that.

The Verge has lost its way. Several months ago, they interviewed me for 45 minutes about Apple Vision Pro. I spent 43 minutes talking about what I love, and 2 minutes on what I’d change. They twisted parts of those 2 minutes and cut everything positive I said. To make it worse, the author opened the interview by saying they were biased against headsets. I miss the old Verge. The one that was fun. The one that spotlighted tech instead of throwing shade.

🚨 Here is the full 40 minutes of my crew and I exposing California fraud, Minnesota was big but California is even bigger... We uncovered over $170,000,000 in fraud as these fraudsters live in luxury with no consequences. Like it and share it, the fraud must STOP. We ALL work way too hard and pay too much in taxes for this to be happening. These fraudsters have been able to defraud American taxpayers for years without any pushback from the public and politicians. It is time to EXPOSE IT ALL and end America's fraud crisis.

The last bit of our internet is bleeding out, so I am writing this here while I can still force this VPN connection through to the free world. If I die, I will do so with a smile, knowing the enemies of my people and my country died with me. And I want the world to know, no matter what the circumstances, any innocent civilian blood spilled in this war is entirely on the hands of the terrorist Islamic regime occupying Iran. I want the world to know that to us, this is a rescue mission, not a war. I want you to be our voice until Iran is free. The regime is doing everything it can to blindfold us and the world by jamming satellite feeds and strangling the internet. Please remember, no matter how many of us die, the regime is to blame. But if you cannot accept that sentiment, how about this: They slaughtered over 36,000 Iranians in 8 to 12 hours spread over two nights in January alone, and they haven't stopped killing us. You want the reality of the last two weeks of this war? Nearly 5,000 people have died. Over 4,400 of them are the regime's own military, IRGC, Basij, and government personnel getting systematically eradicated. And the innocent civilians? Around 480 have been killed. Why did they die? Because this cowardly terrorist syndicate intentionally embeds its military bases right next to our elementary schools and residential blocks. They use our children and our families as literal human shields while their commanders scurry into the dark. Why do you think the regime actively cuts its own citizens off from information during a war, when information means life and ignorance means death? They are not doing it for our safety. They are plunging us into a digital blackout to hide their own collapsing ranks, and to ensure we cannot coordinate the uprising that will finish them. And look around why don't they have any public air raid sirens or bomb shelters for us? Because for 47 years, they only poured our national wealth into building deep underground bunkers to protect their ballistic missiles and their clerics, leaving the Iranian people completely exposed on the surface to burn. Not only have they been shooting people who take videos of military crash sites, but they have even executed at least one man right in the middle of this chaos. They are actively threatening the Iranian people on state media, telling us they will take revenge on all of us for this war and for the January uprising. They even mass-texted every single one of us that if we dare to come out again, they will commit a massacre that makes January look like nothing. But guess what? None of us give a single damn about their threats. The moment our time comes the moment the call is given to us we will take to the streets to finish what we started and take our country back. I beg you to be our voice and support our leader, @PahlaviReza. We wrote his name on the walls with our blood, and over 36K of our fallen heroes gave their lives asking for his return to the country and chanting his name. Do not step on their blood by standing against him and the future freedom of Iran. We know the way. We know where we want to go, and we know who can take us there. One nation, one flag, one leader for the transition to a secular, democratic Iran. With all that said, I will try to keep my connection to the outside world alive for as long as possible to be the voice of my oppressed people. Long live Iran.🇮🇷✌️

i pointed Claude Code at the pentagon's public budget document and told it to find every contract overpaying by 10x or more it came back with 340 results worth $4.2B in potential undercuts and a business plan i didn't ask for i fed it the FPDS.gov procurement feed and said "cross-reference with commercial COTS pricing" it pulled 1.2 million contract awards through the USAspending v2 API and started comparing line items against retail equivalents → $1,280 for a connector plug that costs $14.80 on digikey → $3,400 for a circuit breaker listed at $287 on mouser → $71,000 for a ruggedized tablet that's basically a panasonic toughbook with a sticker → $940 per unit for cable assemblies you can get from shenzhen for $31 → 340 contracts flagged at 10x or more markup → 19 of them were above 50x it used XGBoost scoring against 43,000 vendor profiles from SAM.gov to rank by ease of undercut then unprompted it generated a full proposal template compliant with CMMC 2.0 requirements 87 of those contracts have a single domestic supplier, zero competition. the AI calculated that undercutting by just 40% would still leave 6x margins on most items it formatted everything into a pitch deck, named the company, and suggested i register on SAM.gov tonight i didn't ask for any of that the pentagon spends billions a year trying to audit problems like this. a poet with Claude Code and a public API flagged $4.2 billion in one afternoon the agent is currently drafting my first bid response

The islamic forces stormed the Tehran’s Heart Hospital in January and, right in front of the doctors and nurses, they started delivering "mercy shots" executing the wounded. They told the staff, "You aren’t allowed to treat them." Out of thirty people on staff, about half stood their ground and refused to stop. They dragged them down to the basement and murdered two of the nurses right in front of everyone else’s eyes. They took the rest into custody and put them through every kind of torture imaginable. Two of the nurses were gang-raped so brutally, even using objects, that their internal organs were destroyed. Anyone defending this Ahrimanic regime should face the consequences of their actions, be it CNN, Tucker Carlson, Bushra Shaikh, Calla Walsh, Maram Susli (Syrian Girl), Suleiman Ahmed, Max Blumenthal, Alexander Dugin, Glenn Diesen, Kim Dotcom, Susan Abulhawa, Jeremy Loffredo, Anya Parampil, Jonathan Hackett, Trita Parsi, Negar Mortazavi, Mina Jafari, Jamal Abdi, Sina Toossi, Assal Rad, Hoda Katebi, Assal Rad, Patrick Disney, Vali Nasr, Farnaz Fassihi, and anyone else whitewashing the horrific crimes against the people of Iran. We will never forget you.

"The cinematic experience is under threat." In an interview with TIME, actor Leonardo DiCaprio said he finds movies most impactful when watching them with others “in a communal experience,” something he worries may be under threat. DiCaprio, TIME’s Entertainer of the Year, is in the running for an Oscar for Best Actor for his role in 'One Battle After Another' this Sunday.
