Real Dev Squad
@RealDevSquad
Real Dev Squad is a rag-tag team of professionals and students, learning and collaborating together.

How to join @RealDevSquad :

First, you have to realize that life is unfair. We don’t have to help everyone, in fact, we don’t have to help at all. The main mentors of @RealDevSquad end up giving 30-35 hours WEEKLY, for others to grow, and you'd be surprised how non-chalant and frivolous people are who want to join. We have our paths laid out. If it doesn't work for you, just too bad. By now, if you can't get even one referral, then it's time to introspect and get your gears moving anyway. Things are going to get hard for you. And is it really that bad that you pick up another prototyping language on the side, as you prove your consistency to get closer to your goal(s)? A good engineer picks up stuff fast. If you're reluctant, good luck with how the tech wave is shaping up into a tsunami. You want our coaching? Well, this is the price. Take it or leave it. We've done mass intake in past. It brings more trash than treasure. So, gotta be mindful who we decide to invest our 1-2 years worth of time into. The monetary price is free, but our time is still pretty valuable.

@FigmaEdu_Alex Would really appreciate if this is something that can be relooked into. We have a thriving design group and it's growing day by day.

2nd product manager success from @RealDevSquad Crazy to think how it all just works for so many people ❤️

I’ve learned so much from my journey with @RealDevSquad —teamwork, ownership, problem-solving, and real-world development. I believe that when you grow because of a community, you should give back. So today,I presented a PPT about RDS at my college, making students aware about it

@zoink @figma We at @RealDevSquad are a free, non-profit tech community dedicated to helping budding designers learn, grow, and build great product experiences. @figma has always been our tool of choice (naturally!). We’re grateful for the education plan support so far. It’s been instrumental in training our current and past members. Unfortunately, our renewal to continue with the education plan was rejected this year, and we’ve since lost access. We’d be incredibly grateful 🙏 if you could reconsider our application and help us continue empowering the next generation of product designers. Thank you!
