@Real_Slurp @Sandy1Texas @gotrice2024 Good. Because in this sentence, I’m the subject and you’re just an optional modifier.
English

This young lady is getting to go to the movies with her boyfriend. She’s going through her routine of what she sneaks into the theater so she doesn’t get overcharged for snacks.
She smuggles in candy and chips, even two boba teas. When she walks, she sloshes and is noisy like a bag of chips being tossed around.
Surprisingly she succeeds and was able to get it. Wouldn’t the attendant noticed how much noise she was making when she walked by?
English

@0bendeozledim Maybe great if you are in a rush and don’t care about the grain. After a good session of BBQ, tho, there’s love in hand-slicing. It’s more personal. That’s an unceremonious end to hours spent nurturing that meat.

@TheDog97115 @alphafox How is this 35 minute video of Mila not keeping more people on your page?

Observations on X over my tenure:
Past:
- Posts were shared out to your followers and non followers quickly based on heuristics and formulas
- If you wanted more reach, you would have to get more followers (a clear goal)
- As soon as you posted, the tweet would be sent to a lot of people at once, and you would have instant engagement - getting 30k impressions in an hour with 120K followers was normal for me back then
Now:
- Posts are shared to a small 'pool' of people
- The more followers you have, the pool is slightly increased
- You could have the best post / content ever, but if the initial pool does not react to it because it was not interesting to them, then it goes no where
- Your following account hardly matters any more except in some instances
- Engagement is delated - big time. Now most of the time you dont know if something is doing well or not until a day later sometimes, taking away much of the excitement of the platform and making it feel dead
- There are chosen accounts that get priority and are boosting, taking away impressions from everyone else
- Foreign accounts now appear on the timeline, even if you have zero interest in them, have ever interacted with them, and dont want to see them
The 'new' system in place only knows how people react to something - it doesn't know if something is good or not, how can it.
Instead of an organic system, we now have socialism - In an effort to make it 'fair' for everyone, now no one is seen since there is too much noise.
If something doesn't trigger the initial pool of people to react, then the post is effectively DOA -
This causes the majority of high impressions posts to be only extremely ADHD content, with either boobs or some other form of instant gratification posts to be pushed to the top.
This explains why so many accounts are not seen - the algo thinks whatever your posting is boring because there aren't explosions or boobs instantly that makes people want to watch it.
Here are some boobs to make this post more appealing, even though it has nothing to do with anything.

@tmart7301 @DesireeAmerica4 Their parents can’t be charged if they’re not there.

@DesireeAmerica4 Can you imagine living your life blaming others like the looser's who can't see the fault is the bikers own fault.
English

@maverick92324 @anmlbhvr7 @elonmusk You can’t see the stars when the sun is shining on the earth, you can only see them at night when the sun has rotated and lights up the stars.

@anmlbhvr7 @elonmusk There are never any stars in any of these pictures no matter what angle or how far or close they are!

@RotelliTom @AngryDockDog @washghost1 The last time I had Johnny Sprockets I blew out half my colon. My mistake was in thinking I could survive the 1/2 hour drive to the house where I could blast ass in the comfort of my own bathroom. I made it halfway to the house before birthing my innards.

@eda2026 @stooybaby @BobSchwaller Tipping is not allowed where I work. It can easily be construed as selling special favors to people at the company's expense.
English

Today I went to the store and bought 17lb of ground beef for $77. Here’s how I did it: I chose the cheapest whole brisket at $4.46 per lb and asked the store butcher to grind it. It took him 5 minutes, and he even packed it into 4 separate packs. I thanked him and left with perfect, fresh ground beef from one cow. One pound of this cost me less than a gallon of gas in my area.😘

@Zeppo81190327 @RickD_GK Pretty sure he won’t rob anybody. Simmer down.
English

@RickD_GK 1. Major fire hazard. Thats probably plugged into a surge protector which could easily melt and catch fire from the amp draw of that thing.
2. He would stick up that whole call center with him cooking like that. Its probably not the first time he was told not to do that.
English

This man was fired from his job at a Call center after someone noticed he was cooking breakfast at his work station.
His argument is that customers cannot see what he is doing, so he figured it would be ok.
It appears with what he's cooking, that he is sharing with other co-workers, and this is probably not the only time he has done this.
So why fire him this time, but not any of the times previous?

English

@CornerstoneCPA_ @PerrySolem Except McDonald’s. You can stand there and watch your order get hijacked as they grab from it to fill drive-thru orders. But it’s better to go in and wait so you don’t need to drive back thru to get the order right. They’ll have you park-and-wait anyway. Maybe this CFA will work.
English

@PerrySolem Demonstrates the sheer laziness of Americans. I walk inside 95% of the time because it takes less time. 🙄
English

passed this absolute UNIT in McDonough yesterday. new "elevated" concept expected to do $20+ million/yr in sales. been tweeted about before but i hadn't seen it til now.
what's the Enterprise Value of this location? I'm thinking $5m ebitda (great margins), slap a 10x on it bc Chick Fil A is so awesome = $50m

English

@McFranchisee @jansenshayne @PerrySolem It’s a huge red flag if 95% of what people say is “incorrect.” Obviously you’re an excited McDonalds employee, but maybe it’s time to listen more and talk less. It’s not words that will help your employer. McDonald’s thinks its “value” is higher than it is. It’s gone so downhill.
English

My feed is overall pretty positive, I’ll comment on items that pop onto my feed which may try and fill in lost context or correct the OP as 95% of what is said about Mcd is typically not correct.
I was in no way negative about this project, it’s a gorgeous, high volume build that makes a statement.
I just posted that CFA said they weren’t building another one due to cost.

@passageatarms @PerrySolem It’s a beautiful build!

@ImAbegunde @getrichordietri @mog_russEN Your ESL is definitely a factor in your struggle to communicate.
English

@Real_Slurp @getrichordietri @mog_russEN I’m definitely not blaming the wife here.
But as a man. You should know better. Don’t let your Anger describe who you are.
That action right there is not preaching good of the man.
So what are you talking about?
You seem to be getting the information wrongly.
Think man

@Jordan_Hawkins4 @andban92 @GriftReport If you can read the posts, and feel an urge to contribute - then read what your voice-to-text is before clicking send. And get your app checked, because it’s not supposed to randomly capitalize words like voice. You should have a better app for your disability/excuse.

@ImAbegunde @getrichordietri @mog_russEN Simmer down, abeg dolemite. If his wife behaves properly, why do you assume he does the same thing? Why do you assume she is punished?
English

@getrichordietri @mog_russEN Are you a foool? Regardless of how hard it is. It is not called for,
You must be doing same thing to your wife then.
How could you say that?
You are definitely bird of same feather. But you are definitely worse that I ever imagined.
You fool 😓🤦♂️😡

@DestroyL23 @real_White_Boy_ @gotrice2024 Sucking and slurping on foods as noisily as possible to urge strangers to watch you is a growing trend made popular by certain tribal videos, but no; savanna-slurping is not normal behavior in a public theater. This juicebox is beaming because she’s eager for any attention.

This woman was watching a movie with her family. Everyone else was having popcorn and sodas and candy.
She on the other hand snuck in a whole seafood boil to enjoy while watching her movie.
Besides breaking the rules, isn’t she being inconsiderate and selfish, brining in something that smells like seafood, what if there was people in there allergic to shellfish, what do you think should happen to people who do this?

@end3of6days9 This juicebox needs to go ahead and simmer down. She’s not nearly as Main Character as she thinks she is Main Character. Nobody’s going to look at a cupboard and gasp. She’s not as stalked as she think she is stalked. She signed the contract; she’ll pay and like it.

Would you pay $300 extra just to keep your own home private? 🤔
This woman is heated after discovering a crazy clause in her kitchen remodel contract. The company says they can take photos and videos of her house for their social media and website — unless she pays a $300 “inconvenience” fee to keep it off the internet.
She had a scary stalking incident last year (a man showed up at her home and she had to get a restraining order), so privacy and safety are a huge deal for her. She politely explained everything and asked them to waive the fee — she’s a full-paying customer with zero discounts — but they flat-out refused.
You can literally hear her heart racing as she explains how unfair and insane this feels. She was about to put down her deposit and now she’s seriously rethinking the whole remodel.
Update: The kitchen remodel company is now contacting their attorney for defamation because she made this video.
