@thevivafrei Universal Income doesn’t require Income Taxes. Revenue can be created from tarrifs, excises, and mineral rights, especially, in a deflationary economy with abundant resources. Your price issues would be solved by material costs, fair foreign trade, and a free domestic market.

I don’t understand this argument. What good does “universal high income” do when all that would happen is massive inflation for the cost of goods? Awesome, now everyone’s a millionaire. And a computer now costs $20,000 because every retailer knows that everyone’s a millionaire.
Elon Musk@elonmusk

Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

@MJTruthUltra @elonmusk It’s the Popular Left vs Popular Right. Universal Income doesn’t have to be funded by Income tax. Two conflicting visions for the future. Democratic Socialist Nation State vs Republican Capitalist Nation. It’s eventually “seizing the means of production” vs “abundant wealth”.

Elon Musk says Universal HIGH INCOME from the Federal Government is the best way to deal with Unemployment caused by AI. Dear @elonmusk , We just exited a global pandemic — engineered and mishandled by governments that then tried to force an experimental, cancer-linked injection into people’s arms under threat of losing their jobs and basic freedoms. During that very same period, the unelected globalists at the World Economic Forum aggressively pushed for the very same thing you are… Universal Basic Income. Now you’re suggesting we simply swap “Basic” for “High.” A bigger carrot on the same stick doesn’t make the trap any less dangerous. No one wants to grind themselves into exhaustion. But work is not just about survival — it is one of the core sources of human dignity, purpose, and self-worth. When people build, create, solve problems, and provide value to others through their labor and ingenuity, they gain a profound sense of meaning. Work disciplines the mind, builds character, fosters resilience, and gives life structure and direction. It turns idle potential into real achievement and connects individuals to something larger than themselves. Trading that away for a government check — no matter how “high” — is a losing bargain. A handout from the state can be given today and weaponized or withdrawn tomorrow, depending on who holds power. Administrations change every few years, ideologies shift, and what starts as “compassion” inevitably mutates into control. One generation might receive it generously; the next will almost certainly see it abused, rationed, or turned into a tool of compliance. History offers ZERO examples of large-scale Universal High Income or Basic Income experiments that did not erode freedom and concentrate power in the hands of the state. Instead of liberating humanity from AI-driven disruption, this path risks creating a dependent, purposeless underclass ruled by bureaucratic tyranny. True progress means using AI to augment human potential — not to replace the very things that make us human: effort, creativity, responsibility, and earned reward. Who else agrees?

@elonmusk Yes, but should not be funded by an income tax. A National fund could gain revenue from tariffs, excises, mineral rights, and potentially with even more energy materials. We will have an abundance of energy once Nuclear, eventually fusion, is deployed throughout America!

🚨 JUST NOW: President Trump CONFIRMS America will get the Iranian nuclear dust and BANS Israel from bombing Lebanon "The U.S.A. will get all Nuclear “Dust,” created by our great B2 Bombers - No money will exchange hands in any way, shape, or form." "This deal is in no way subject to Lebanon, either, but the USA will, separately, work with Lebanon, and deal with the Hezboolah situation in an appropriate manner. Israel will not be bombing Lebanon any longer. They are PROHIBITED from doing so by the U.S.A. Enough is enough!!!"

@jonfranks @SeanParnellASW You honestly think the intent by Sandy-1 when saying this prayer is to declare vengeance is theirs instead of God’s, rather than declaring to defend and protect their brother and children, the innocent, from the tyranny of evil men?

@SeanParnellASW He did misquote it. Ezekiel 25:17 is about God’s vengeance on the Philistines. God’s role simply cannot be subcontracted to a U.S. commander. Scripture is explicit: “Vengeance is mine… sayeth the Lord.” — Romans 12:19

Secretary Hegseth on Wednesday shared a custom prayer, referenced as the CSAR prayer, used by the brave warfighters of Sandy-1 who led the daylight rescue mission of Dude 44 Alpha out of Iran, which was obviously inspired by dialogue in Pulp Fiction. However, both the CSAR prayer and the dialogue in Pulp Fiction were reflections of the verse Ezekiel 25:17, as Secretary Hegseth clearly said in his remarks at the prayer service. Anyone saying the Secretary misquoted Ezekiel 25:17 is peddling fake news and ignorant of reality.
Variety@Variety

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth tried to evoke Holy Scripture but instead quoted Quentin Tarantino's "Pulp Fiction" during a Pentagon worship service. Hagseth read the altered version of Ezekiel 25:17 quoted by Samuel L. Jackson’s character in the movie just before he shoots a man to death. variety.com/2026/film/news…

The Pope is showing charity in demanding moral outcome and the church requires us to reject the death penalty because due protection of citizens is ensured through new effective systems of detention. This is in continuity with tradition in scripture and dogma. When the protection of citizens is not ensured we are required to defend the innocent, and the state authority may apply traditional justice in according to scripture and dogma. This is also charity and continuity with tradition in scripture and dogma. When authority makes this judgment they must show reverence and religious submission of intellect and will to the call.

@catholicbob Agree and disagree. The Pope is not speaking politically on these matters. He is representing our faith well with his recent comments, and anyone that disagrees needs to seek truth as to why they feel he is wrong. Have they let politics come above faith?

Look, if you’re Catholic, you don’t have to agree with the Pope about the wars going on around the world (I think you should), but at the very least you shouldn’t be a dick about it. The Pope may not always be right, but he’s always the Pope and should be treated with respect.

Theo Von invited a little girl with a rare genetic disease who does food reviews on his podcast. He asked her: If you could rename your mom, what would it be? What kind of content are kids watching these days?

NEW: Artemis II Commander Reid Wiseman reflects on being MOVED to tears by the Christian cross after returning to Earth from the historic expedition: "When I got back on the on the ship — I'm not really a religious person — but there was just no other avenue for me to explain anything or to experience anything." "So I asked for the chaplain on the Navy ship to just come visit us for a minute, and when that man walked in, I'd never met him before in my life. But I saw the cross on his collar, and I just broke down in tears." "It's very hard to fully grasp what we just went through."

🔥NEW: Clarence Thomas — full remarks on progressivism, its foundations, history, and impact from his appearance at University of Texas at Austin: “Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, and Mao were all intertwined with the rise of progressivism, and all were opposed to the natural rights on which our Declaration is based.” "Many progressives expressed admiration for each of them shortly before their governments killed tens of millions of people." "It comes as no surprise that the progressives embraced eugenics... It was only a small step for Wilson to resegregate the federal workforce." "It was only another step for the government to launch sterilization programs on those deemed by the experts of the day to be unfit to reproduce." “European thinkers have long criticized America for remaining trapped in a Lockean world, with its weakened, decentralized government and strong individual rights. They say our 18th-century Declaration has prevented us from progressing to higher forms of government." "But we were fortunate not to trade our Lockean bonds for the supposedly enlightened world of Hegel, Marx, and their followers. Fascism, which after all was national socialism, triggered wars in Europe and Asia that killed tens of millions." "The socialism of the Soviet Union and the People’s Republic of China proceeded to kill tens of millions more of their own people. This is what happens when natural rights give way to higher-good notions of history or progress, or, as Thomas Sowell has written, the visions of the anointed." "None of this, of course, was an improvement on the principles of the Declaration. Tocqueville's Democracy in America is largely about how America owed its superiority over Europe to its conscious decision to reject central planning and administrative rule, root and branch." "Progressivism, in other words, is retrogressive.”

Yes, Catholics did contribute in building America. In 1800, Catholics were ≈.5% of the population (100,000 out of 5.3 million). In 1850, Catholics were ≈5% of the population (1 million out of 23.2 million). By 1900, Catholics were ≈12% of the population (7.3 million out of 76.2 million), concentrated in New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin, Louisiana, New Mexico, and California. Sure, Methodists were the largest denomination in 1850, but today the largest denomination is Catholicism (19%, 53 million). It is nearly half the Protestant population (40%, 110 million) which has 5 denominations: Baptists, Methodists, Lutherans, Presbyterians, and Anglicans. Charles Carroll signing the Declaration doesn’t rewrite demographics, but it is history of a Christian, not entirely Protestant, Nation. Claims that Catholics “built” America are simply true. All Christian built this Nation. I get why you are angry with Pope, I am upset too, but you don’t need to take it out on the entire Catholic Church. Respectfully, - A brother in Christ, Catholic, and follower.

No, Catholics did not build America. In 1776, they were just 1% of the population (25,000 out of 2.5 million), concentrated mostly in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New York. Protestants overwhelmingly led the founding. Yes, Charles Carroll (a Catholic) signed the Declaration, but that doesn’t rewrite history. Claims that Catholics “built” America are simply false.
