Hello, James! Floridian here. You make me crazy. You have some ideas I find really interesting… …But I’m a hard pass on the anti-Semitism, and I’m a hard pass on the racism.

Similar to when Israeli cyber official Tom Alexandrovich -- after meeting with NSA and other US agents -- was arrested in Las Vegas for trying to arrange hook-ups with underage girls. He was then bizarrely released with no restrictions, waltzed back to Israel, never returned.

A joint U.S.-Israeli special forces operation to extract Iran’s highly enriched uranium from Isfahan would be the perfect off-ramp: neutralize the nuclear threat, flip the script on the regime, and hand Trump a decisive strategic victory. High risk, historic reward. The move nobody sees coming.

My take: “Israelis understand in the Middle East that you got to negotiate while fighting. And Americans don't do that. Americans fire, then we stop, we do ceasefires. But we never seem to want to fight and negotiate, right? And Israelis just completely don't understand that approach. I actually think Trump is more Israeli in that respect. I think he does understand against the Islamic Republic of Iran, he’s not going to get Hormuz open permanently or a nuclear deal that meets his minimum demands without escalating against the Islamic Republic. And I think he's keeping escalation in his pocket. He'll give diplomacy a chance. But at some point, President Trump is going to reach a decision point that he's got to negotiate while fighting. I hope he reaches that point. If not, President Trump will end up squandering the greatest opportunity a US president has ever had to deal with the Islamic Republic. And if that happens, I will be criticizing him. And I'm sure Senate Republicans will be criticizing him. And I think his legacy will be severely tainted. I'm hopeful that that's not the President Trump that we've seen through two administrations confronting the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

The deal is 95 percent there, only thing remaining is the nuclear material, Irans control of the strait, the regime, missiles, drones, and proxy forces.

I’m seeing people publicly criticizing this post. Here are a few thoughts… 1) It’s the Lord’s Day. Criticizing the sanctity of marriage, especially today, is distasteful. Log off. 2) Marriage should not be rash, but neither should it be slow and dragged along. James found the girl, proposed, and tied the knot. Good on him. Modernity would have tempted James to wait till after the primary… then wait for the general… then wait to be installed… then wait until reelection… etc… etc… etc. This is folly. Go get the girl. Everything else can wait. 3) Some people are saying James was recently dating someone else. Respectfully, pound sand. It’s not your business. The most loving thing a man can do is not procrastinate in ending a relationship with the girl he knows he should not marry, and not procrastinate in marrying the girl he knows he should. 4) To @j_fishback: You got the girl. Now the proof is in the pudding. You will prove all your detractors foolish by keeping her. The best revenge is a life well lived. In this case, the best revenge is a marriage well lived out. -Love her as Christ love the Church. -Wash her and sanctify her in the Word. -Lead her with Christ’s authority. -And give her godly offspring who rise up and call her blessed. Finally, So long as you continue to magnify Christ, you have all my support. Forever at your service. Christ is King.

Gas prices are currently falling but until we see an agreement signed & a significant amount of ships transit through the Strait, the national average price of gasoline will likely remain well above $4/gal. Only once we start seeing confidence and ships move will prices plummet.
Clay Travis@ClayTravis

At a minimum, gas prices will likely plummet in coming days. Admin believes more moderate voices have taken power in Iran and want a deal. Radical elements in IRGC are often using pro-Iran reporters & outlets to work to kill deal with inaccurate propaganda.

The fact that so many proponents of the Iran war are criticizing Trump’s looming deal is less an indictment of the deal than it is of the war. It means they can't defend the results of the policy they advocated for so long so are reduced to claiming that victory would have been around the corner if only Trump had stayed the course... (which only they seem to believe). They are right that the deal will leave the US worse off than before the war but fail to recognize, or at least refuse to admit, that the mistake was the war, not the deal.
Mike Pompeo@mikepompeo

The deal being floated with Iran seems straight out of the Wendy Sherman-Robert Malley-Ben Rhodes playbook: Pay the IRGC to build a WMD program and terrorize the world. Not remotely America First. It’s straightforward: Open the damned strait. Deny Iran access to money. Take out enough Iranian capability so it cannot threaten our allies in the region. Overdue. Let’s go.
