There’s no way y’all like driving manual everyday

Hoops@Hoopss
What are you convinced people are just pretending to enjoy?
English

@summers_true @willnorman @EnfieldCouncil @JourneysPlaces And since 2017 EVs have to have a noise maker. Id be interested to see the report re-run for post 2017 cars. My i3 was louder than an idling diesel and petrol.
English

You are five times more likely to survive being hit by a driver doing 20mph vs a driver doing 30mph.
Great to see Enfield rolling out new life saving 20mph zones.
Slow down. Slower speeds save lives. #VisionZeroLDN.

@SordidaHenricus @SkySportsF1 Having more money doesn't really do much these days, the cost cap stops excessive spending. Which is why when one team now dominates, it takes a season or so before someone else catches up. Merc were spending £400M in 2019.
English

@SkySportsF1 Short sighted. They may be a new team now but Audi have much more money and better long term prospects than AM.
I used to go to Le Mans every year and their sports car racing infrastructure was phenomenal and big enough to rival any F1 team. They will succeed in F1 eventually.

Thomas Tuchel has named his England squad to face Uruguay and Japan.
What are your thoughts on the selection?

@smartroad78 @McDonaldsUK Agreed, I needed receipts for lunch claims, slightly awkward when they never printed.
English

@McDonaldsUK can you sort out the receipt printing on your self serve terminals. If your going to force us to do half the work then make sure they print receipts. 80% of the time I never get a receipt from them
English

@elonmusk @diana_dukic The clickbaiters that do it just for monetisation. You can see it a mile off.
English

Anyone else's @bluelightcard refuse to work these days? I've uninstalled and reinstalled.. I get the same message at 1am, so it cant be high demand 🙄

English

@Carsofglasgow1 I thought it was the CHR or atleast something Toyota. But brand new to the UK suggests otherwise
English

@MorganDe_god @Jesss_Chels @_ezeokolorie My car is a 2013 A4 with 155k on it, it gets a basic service and we move on, I wasn't paying Audi near £400 for £80 worth of parts (inc oil), thats £320 labour 😂
English

@SamCosham @Jesss_Chels @_ezeokolorie Full service at Kia was £343 last year but TMS do service plans which are pretty decent tbh
English

@Carsofglasgow1 Always try it! Just a tip, dont put your tongue in to try it 🙄😂
English

@SamCosham That’s the trick! I never tried it until I left the area
English

@Carsofglasgow1 I take a small sip at the window and if its crap I tell them 😂
English

@bluewmist I got an EV and stopped getting Costa, sausage rolls, biscuits etc at service stations.
English

@JordanEVGuy Just a shame that councils will charge 70p/kWh pricing themselves out.

This doesn’t look like much, but it changes everything.
What you’re looking at is an evpzee lamppost charger.
It is the smartest solution to one of the biggest barriers to EV adoption.
A standard street lamp, quietly turned into an EV charger.
No digging up roads, it is installed in just 30 minutes.
No huge infrastructure projects, a full street can be electrified in a matter of hours.
Manufactured and assembled in the UK and fully OCPP.
Using what’s already there.
For millions of people across the UK, especially those without driveways, this is the difference between “I can’t have an EV” and “actually…I can.”
It’s easy to overlook innovations like this because they’re not flashy.
No 350kW ultra-rapid chargers.
No massive charging hubs.
Just practical, scalable, everyday infrastructure doing exactly what it needs to do.
And that’s the point.
The EV transition will be be driven by everyone having the ability to charge when they need to.
Simple.
Effective.

English

@Jesss_Chels @_ezeokolorie Audi wanted near what you have paid for a full service, an interim was £200ish.
You couldn't even get the parts and oil for £50 😂
English

@_ezeokolorie @Jesss_Chels £50 for an interim service? Where are you getting a service for that?!
English

@Jesss_Chels You got absolutely robbed. interim service is £50-150 max LMFAOO spin back
