Yes, your grocery prices are up—by about $310 since 2024.
Trump’s war with Iran is raising costs, AND food prices are still out of control.
But Trump has done nothing to stop them.
That’s why I’m calling on his admin to crack down on price fixing now.

@AngieMentink We all use AI. If we didn’t all these companies wouldn’t be spending so much to develop it. No big deal to me. 🤷🏻♂️

Currently asking AI how to handle going viral for using AI. 😅
In all seriousness, I'm late to the AI party. Earlier this season I experimented with AI to see if it had any questions to add to my list for my postgame coverage. We've come a long way from pen and paper when I started in 1997
Always learning.

The Constitution deliberately balances population-based representation (House) with equal state representation (Senate). The Electoral College is a compromise between them: each state gets electors equal to its total congressional delegation (House seats + 2 senators). This gives smaller or medium-sized states like Wyoming, New Hampshire, or New Mexico a meaningful voice. Without it, candidates would have almost zero incentive to campaign there or tailor platforms to their concerns.
A pure popular vote would turn the country into a raw majoritarian system where the 10-12 largest states (home to a majority of the population) could dominate, marginalizing the other 38-40 states. This setup respects the “United States” design rather than treating America as one undifferentiated mass of voters. It’s similar to how the Senate prevents pure population rule in legislation.

The replies to this are so funny: 4000 people making the exact same bad arguments I've heard my whole life, as if they've somehow never been made before. I know the arguments for the EC - that's why I said there are no good ones.
The US has only one office that's elected by American voters as a whole. The fact that we have a system that in that one race allows a minority of voters to dictate to the majority and decide who gets the office is ridiculous and stupidly anti-democratic. We're always going to have it, but that's a bad thing.
