@GalaticGain @LouisvilleGoat @mistor That wouldnt even make sense to have in this game. They’re not follower characters of eachother, they’re separate and appear in most of their scenes alone so far. And even if that were happening that would make the PC restriction dumber because that’s a peer to peer connection

There’s a part in the ARR story where quests were updated weekly(?) and theres like 10 hours of just boring, voiceless, near-motionless dialogue in the Waking Sands. No fights, no levels, I stopped playing when i got there. It was insane

@BabowsaMarina @tropotropotropo I seen in another comment the mc is from Fukuoka so i can see this as a localized ender for like “やなぁ” type western dialectal endings It’s still weird because theres no precedence for this (it’s obviously racial) and it’s kinda juvenile to translate enders in literature

@kzzrttt Funny enough Japan really loves Old Navy and Gap, its fashionable over there. Not just the retail lines where jeans are like 80$ (and not a premium label) but vintage stores display Gap logos and old Navy shirts from only like 10-20 years back

@StaticManiaArt @GambitoAlter in my opinion, every game worth a damn integrates its narrative into the gameplay (and vice versa) so much that its impossible to talk about one without the other. if gameplay isn't relevant to the story as a whole, then there's no reason for it to even be a game

I played Stranger Than Heaven and walked away really impressed and wanting to play more. This game feels very polished, very AAA and very big budget. It feels like SEGA stepping up and delivering something more premium. This is NOT Yakuza. And I love Yakuza, this is just very very different. The combat system itself is super innovative. R1/R2 are used for weak and strong right handed attacks, L1/L2 are used for weak and strong left handed attacks. You alternate between them for combos, you can grab someone with your left hand, while punching with your right, oh and it is VERY brutal and violent. Can't wait to play more.

This was 2019 when the racist and homophobic edgy stuff had to find holdouts on Twitch while the internet was leaving them in the past. It was dying since OW dropped. Younger users were more socially conscious.
