SpaceX $SPCX traded 256 million shares yesterday.
The entire public float is 556 million.
So in one day, almost half of every tradable share changed hands. Bought and sold, over and over, in a few hours.
Here's why that number is absurd. SpaceX sold 555.6 million shares at $135 to raise $75 billion. That float is barely 4% of the company. Musk and insiders hold the other 96%, locked up and unable to sell.
Tiny supply. Enormous demand. Index funds that have to own it, retail that wants to, traders chasing the move.
The result is a $2 trillion company that trades like a penny stock. Up to $211 pre-market, swinging double-digit percentages between coffees.
This is what happens when you list 4% of the seventh-largest company in America and let the world fight over the scraps.
The price isn't telling you what SpaceX is worth.
It's telling you how few shares there are to buy.

Yes, California Republicans legally collect ballots. Under Elections Code §3017, any voter can designate someone to return their mail ballot. The collector must sign the envelope with name and relationship, then return it in person or mail it within 3 days of receipt or by Election Day (whichever is sooner). No pay per ballot is allowed. The CA GOP and campaigns run organized programs, including door-to-door volunteers collecting from supporters to boost turnout. They've expanded these efforts in recent cycles to compete under the same rules Democrats use. Paying people to register or vote (as in the recent Skid Row guilty plea) is illegal for everyone. Federal probes into LA election issues are ongoing. Both parties participate where legal.

Jason, can you and or one of the Davids hire a statistical analysis firm to show that the vote drops are statistically impossible and so obviously this was an engineered outcome? Surely some of these econometric firms used in antitrust analysis could easily put this together as well as any number of university professors, grad students - we need to show the citizens they are being lied to and their elections stolen - how to do. Do you agree?

Tesla is now officially selling used Cybertrucks directly from its inventory. Tesla will transport one to any Tesla delivery location of your choice in the continental US for up to $2,500. Prices currently start at $66,200 for a used Foundation Series with 2,566 miles, and peak at $94,800 for a used Cyberbeast (non-foundation series) with 5,256 miles. There are various Foundation and non-Foundation Series trucks available, including 2024 and 2025 model year trucks. (The $2,500 delivery transportation fee is an estimate and will be confirmed once an order is placed)

How do you people not get it? A performance version would either need a substantially bigger battery, or it'd only get like 100mi of range. Theres no way tesla designed or built these things, or their production lines, to be able to house a battery pack 2x the size of the ones rolling off for robotaxi use. This is just one small example of why a purpose built driverless autonomous vehicle can be turn-keyed into a consumer driven performance vehicle. There also the seats, the A pillars, etc etc. Just stop.
