Islam’s incompatibility with modern laws Islamic Hudud punishments are incompatible with human rights and modern legal systems. These include: •Amputations for theft. •Stoning and lashing for adultery. •Crucifixion. •Execution of apostates. These are barbaric 7th-century laws that have no place in today’s world. For these reasons and more, I could no longer follow Islam.
