Here is Hasan LITERALLY calling out his own community for wanting to excuse her anti-semitic words and behavior, by the way. This is from today's stream.

@ShinMarginalScr the vast majority of burnham's political career has been as a blairite, with some 'business friendly socialism' manchesterism bollocks thrown in. he's not even pretending to offer an alternative to treasury brained bollocks, and he's been clear about that. typical novara.

I’m not particularly fond of Tony Benn, but his leftward shift is well-documented whereas Burnham has been a career chameleon.
Novara Media@novaramedia

Progressive voters are unhappy that Andy Burnham voted for the Iraq war – but few remember that leftwing icon Tony Benn prepared to use troops to break a strike whilst he was a minister. “If that kind of archive existed in the late 70s, early 80s,” says @AaronBastani on Downstream, “I doubt [Benn] would have been the standard bearer of the Labour left. But people didn’t know about things that happened 20 years earlier in the way they now do.” James Butler (@piercepenniless) says that it’s “democratic” that politicians should be held accountable for their past choices – but it also feels like “people can’t change positions” anymore. “The whole communicative regime has changed, and I don’t think politics has caught up with it at all,” he adds. @gayest_tone @guchi_luke the greens run for elections, DSA don't field a single candidate. one has more members with a fraction of the total populace. by their own terms, the DSA are a complete failure.

@guchi_luke @gayest_tone my point is that there isn't any comparison, because both parties are effectively soc dem but one has MPs, fields candidates and actually positions itself as an alternative, the other doesn't.

@Spectractiz @gayest_tone Man I am not about to get into a mid-off between the British and American left movements. If you were contributing to something better, we'd have something better.

burnham just completely folded to the markets and also backed labour's fiscal policies, but novara have found a way to still support him through some tortured and historically illiterate comparison.

@gayest_tone Yeah, but I think the subtext here is that a lot of posters here will say "there is no legitimate way to engage with the American political system" while constantly posting about American politics. Say what you will about DSA entryism, it is a goal.

@YourAnonNews American soldiers are heroes. Don’t hate on something just because of politics. If the soldiers did something amazing that warrants a movie, then respect that.

Itamar Ben Gvir’s conduct is entirely deserving of the censure it has drawn across Israel’s political spectrum, including from Foreign Minister @gidonsaar. Ben Gvir represents an extreme fringe, and his mistreatment of detainees is abhorrent, wholly unjustifiable and antithetical to the liberal democratic principles at the heart of Israel’s founding and the values that LFI upholds. His antics yesterday only further demonstrate why Prime Minister Netanyahu’s decision to bring him into government was a catastrophic mistake.
גלעד קריב@KarivGilad

Itamar Ben Gvir is a failed, extreme and incompetent Minister. His despicable acts today have sparked outrage amongst most Israelis. He does not represent Israel. He does not represent Israeli values. He is a disgrace to Judaism and Zionism. And soon he will be out of office.

@byronicgirl Historically groceries are v cheap. Last 10y they're up but so are wages. Housing is considerably worse, especially in most desirable places. But that's not a reason to refuse to make any tradeoffs, or to affect a new grad lifestyle that anyone in the 90's would call luxurious

re: frugality discourse, I made less than $70K post college, packed lunches, had roommates for 8 years in order to save lots of money. Then I bought land and built a house with savings. The anti-avocado toast boomers were 100% right. People are *completely* against tradfeoffs.

This is where Millennials and Zoomers lose their argument and the compassion some might feel for them being in a poor economy goes out the window. I as a 52 year old man & make my lunches every weekend for around $3-$5 each. And when you suggest they do the same it’s like you just pissed on their shoes. So it’s ok for me to sacrifice and do all the little things to save money at 52. But you at 30 consider it an insult. Ok then…. fuck off.

A Chipotle burrito costs $15. Ground beef is $7 a pound. Inflation is financially crippling Gen Z. Once again, an out-of-touch rich boomer is lecturing young people.
