I recently acquired the mugshot for Parker Toyota owner, Doug Parker. On February 27, 2026, Kootenai County deputies responded to a 911 call reporting that a man had pointed a firearm at another individual near Poleline Ave and Bighorn Rd in Post Falls. The victim, Raymond Rodriguez, stated that during a dispute over parking and alleged trespassing, an older male exited a white Toyota pickup, removed a revolver from a holster, and pressed the barrel against his chest while demanding he move his vehicle. Witnesses corroborated the suspect’s vehicle and general description, though they did not directly observe the weapon being used. The vehicle was traced to Parker Toyota, and deputies identified the driver as Douglas Parker. When contacted, Parker admitted to confronting the victim and having a firearm but initially denied removing it from its case or pointing it. During questioning, he changed his account and admitted he had taken the firearm out of the vehicle, though he continued to deny pointing it at the victim. Investigators noted inconsistencies in his statements and that the firearm recovered matched the victim’s description. Based on the victim’s account, corroborating evidence, and Parker’s conflicting statements, deputies determined probable cause and arrested him for aggravated assault (Idaho Code 18-905). The firearm, a Smith & Wesson .38 revolver, was seized as evidence.
