As a member of the bipartisan Congressional Lupus Caucus, I was proud to meet with advocates from across Georgia, including Albany, visiting Congress with the Lupus Foundation of America. Nearly 1.5 million Americans, including 55,000 Georgians suffer from this chronic, autoimmune disease. Congress must oppose cuts to federal research funding, Medicaid, and investments in broadband (telehealth), all of which are crucial for finding a cure and caring for those living with Lupus.
