The rent in America is too damn high. The price of groceries in America is too damn high. The cost of gas in America and across the world now is too damn high. The cost of medical care is too damn high. And my Republican colleagues are focused on competition between ocean carrier carriers on the high seas?

I just signed a discharge petition so that we can pay our TSA, Coast Guard, FEMA employees and cybersecurity professionals. Lines at ATL and other airports across the country are too damn long and we need to pay our people.

The plaque commemorating the bravery and service of the Capitol and Metropolitan Police Officers who defended the Capitol on January 6th, 2021 is finally hanging. However, it took almost four years after the law passed requiring it to be hung in the Capitol and it is now hanging in the basement, where few people will see it.

I'm proud to receive a 100% on my League of Conservation Voters Annual Environmental Scorecard. In Congress, I'm fighting to protect Georgia's natural beauty for generations to come and to ensure everyone has access to clean air and water.

The unprecedented decision to grant extraordinary emergency relief in Malliotakis v. Williams serves only to highlight the inconsistency and unpredictability that has come to define the Court’s emergency docket. The regime change attack on Iran is a declaration of war by Trump and Netanyahu. Only Congress has the authority to declare war, so this is also an attack on the U.S. Constitution and the rule of law. I strongly condemn this war of choice, and I call upon Republicans who control Congress to immediately call members back to Washington to exercise our constitutional responsibilities.

As I was cutting off the TV, I saw Trump dispensing Congressional Medals of Honor. It's disturbing that this President has turned what should be a dignified process and ceremony into a mass, expedited political stunt just to score cheap political points rather than honor these heroes the way they deserve.

If you are like me you are tired of listening to Trump heaping praise upon himself and telling lie after lie as he has now shattered the record for the longest SOTU. Good night everyone.

I will not be attending the State of the Union tonight. I know, my constituents know, the people of Minneapolis know and Americans across the country know that the state of our union is not good. The state of our union is unaffordable, unaccountable and unjust. Americans are being terrorized by the very regime that will tell us all tonight that the state of the union is good. We all know better, except for Trump and his MAGA Republican minions.

By striking down Trump's tariffs, SCOTUS has finally found some backbone. Kavanaugh's dissent warns the decision will cause a "mess." Too bad he doesn't see that this Court's pro-Trump rulings already made a huge "mess." We must clean house in November so the cleanup can begin.

While families across this country are struggling with rising costs and fearing for their safety within our borders, the last thing Americans need is another reckless war. Military strikes on Iran would put lives at risk, destabilize the region, and drain taxpayer dollars that are vital here at home. My position has not changed: No War in Iran
