Today, the FDA Modernization Act 3.0 passed @HouseCommerce subcommittee, moving us closer to bringing America’s drug approval process into the 21st century. This bipartisan bill helps reduce unnecessary animal testing by advancing modern alternatives. It’s unethical to use animals, such as dogs, in drug testing. This legislation helps move us toward safer, more innovative methods, without harming man’s best friend.

In 2025, 111 officers paid the ultimate price, defining what it means to be selfless in protecting our communities. We owe those serving, retired, and lost an everlasting debt of gratitude. I will always have your back and support law enforcement with the resources necessary to do their jobs and keep our communities safe.

This bipartisan bill will help law enforcement crack down on coordinated theft rings targeting retailers, workers, and consumers by strengthening coordination to protect businesses and make our communities safer. It is time to put an end to organized retail crime and all forms!
