There are 21,796 active-status voters on the public Colorado voter roll with an overseas mailing address. Some are military personnel but most are civilians who either (a) are temporarily studying/traveling/living abroad, or (b) are permanently resident abroad and have a past connection to Colorado. US citizens living in a foreign country who may have no intention of ever returning to Colorado, even if they are dual citizens voting in their new country of residence, are allowed under US law to continue to vote in Colorado. BUT who those people are isn't tracked by the CO Secretary of State, which would be a reasonable thing to do, and oftentimes people living abroad temporarily forget to change their overseas address on the voter roll when they return. For example, a 25 y.o. resident of northern Colorado has a current mailing address of the Bearded Dad Hostel in Albania - a dorm-style backpacker hostel where you can stay for $US16 per night. It is unlikely she has been living there for 8 years but I'm sure she stayed there once. Now IF there was an expiry date or a requirement to renew an overseas address on the Colorado voter roll after so many years for people TEMPORARILY moving away from the state, a common sense measure, there wouldn't be 21,796 active-status voters on the Colorado voter roll because as it stands now, if you have an overseas mailing address, you can stay on the Colorado voter roll FOREVER even if you don't live at that address any more and even if you NEVER vote in a Colorado election. Common sense is not a flower that blooms in the garden of a certain Secretary of State ...

Outside the US Supreme Court this morning, anti-Trump protesters, including a tranny, began taking swipes at @loomerunleashed and @TheCharlesDowns after he asked U.S. Senator Alex Padilla @SenAlexPadilla if elected Democrats were against the SAVE America Act because they are banking on the illegal alien vote to win the midterm elections in 2026. Charles, to his credit, kept pushing through, telling the “protesters” he has a right to question a US Senator on the public sidewalk outside of SCOTUS. We then asked Senator Padilla, who knows who Charles is, to tell his lackeys to chill out with the physical violence. Padilla refused. Elected Democrats and their anti-Trump protesters are deranged.

The Santa Fe area will be a great addition to Colorado. It is no secret that Colorado and New Mexico are two of the best places to live, work, and play, and we would be thrilled to welcome our friends in Northern New Mexico to our great state and to protect them from aggression from Texas. Let’s be serious, there’s no way that Texas could handle actually annexing this land. We can protect the rich culture, including the arts and restaurant scenes in these communities, while also mutually strengthening our economies and avoiding spreading Texas’s failed leadership any further. Not to mention the fact that this will mean more Pueblo chiles for all. This isn’t like Trump trying to take over Greenland; it’s totally different and definitely legal. I look forward to building on Colorado's past 150 years by growing our state in this next chapter. The partition of New Mexico will go down in history as a big win for Colorado.
