A campaign built on stories eventually runs into facts. The facts are simple: I never confronted his daughter. I never questioned who she was. I didn’t say anything rude. I left to return to budget negotiations at the Capitol. Yet Victor Marx pushed a false story anyway. Victor Marx lied. It was a deliberate false accusation. If you’re willing to invent stories about an opponent, voters have every right to question whether you’re fit to lead this state. Colorado deserves better than a candidate who treats the truth like a political inconvenience.
