@Birdyword People definitely didn’t drink as much water or exercise as much back then. People also weren’t as aware about the importance of getting high quality sleep either. I think most people were more stressed out about work and finances back then

I know this is a popular topic but I'm the age James Gandolfini was when the pilot was filmed (35) and I don't know anyone who looks that old. Of hundreds of friends and acquaintances. Even the smokers, heavy drinkers, bad dieters. Not even close. Was it air pollution? Lead?

This whole narrative misses how our entire education system structurally favors female modes of learning. Decades of suppressing the natural way boys learn and express themselves. It’s not really surprising that Gen Z men are struggling to make the workforce when they’re way behind on test scores, have lower college access, have an uphill battle against DEI in the workplace, feel the long-term effects of deindustrialization, were disproportionately impacted by COVID, etc.
