The Kyoto Aquarium in Japan keeps a wall-sized flowchart tracking the romantic relationships, breakups, and drama between their penguins. They update it every year. Red hearts mean couples. Blue broken hearts mean it’s over. Purple lines with question marks mean it’s complicated. Yellow means friendship. Green means enemies. One female penguin reportedly ended six relationships in a single year. The comment under her photo, translated from Japanese, described her as “basically demonic.” Another penguin was caught dating someone 17 years older who also turned out to be their great aunt. And penguins who get broken up with sometimes refuse to eat. Apparently the staff say wing-flapping means flirting, grooming each other means it’s official, and if a penguin steals another penguin’s egg… well, it’s exactly what it looks like.

How did Pak endear itself to Trump despite being China's ally? Why did this happen after Op Sindoor? How does Pak have pact with Saudi yet be acceptable to Iran as mediator? If Indian experts are truly patriotic, they'll analyse these questions rather than blabber like juveniles

The world, including India will bear the consequences of the collapse of talks between the US and Iran. Continued conflict doesn’t just endanger peace it means supply disruptions. For India - LPG shortages, higher fuel prices, and a fertiliser crunch for farmers.

I've just build a quick screen called "Hottest Stock" off @tradingview v2 tailored for individuals seeking stocks akin to $POET chart. This scan sifts through stocks that have exhibited significant momentum over the past month of trading, while also consolidating within a defined range over the past week. Parameters can be further loosen or tighten to your liking (eg. market cap, share float, avg volume). I need to highlight that the initial substantial movement is prioritized in this screening process. A first huge move has to be made. Some other similar names worth mentioning $DJT $ELYM $INDO $RILY $TMDX $WGS $ZURA To catch the initial surge of $POET, you'll require either a pre-market gap-up screener for April 22nd or a post-gap-up continuation base screener for April 23rd. Your approach to capturing stocks like this hinges entirely on your trading strategy and lifestyle preferences. No right or wrong, as long as it is sustainable on the long run for yourself. The best technical risk on, risk off indicator in the market, especially if you’re a trend follower like me, is the weekly MACD (6,20,9). Once MACD crosses down and price loses its uptrend, just wait for the first weekly close with a MACD up cross. That’s your confirmation. You don’t need breadth. You don’t need sentiment. You don't need NAAIM. You don't need COCK data. You don't need an over complicated dashboard. You don’t need any other indicator. All of these things are noise. You only need PRICE and MACD. Don’t believe me? Go back and look for yourself across any time period, then be the judge. MACD is a timing tool. This concept applies across all timeframes, even intraday, where it helps you dial in precise entries while aligning with higher timeframe key levels. It took me five years of relentless study and commitment to continuous improvement to boil risk on down to something this simple. If you follow a system like this with discipline, and you aren’t already, your results should go parabolic. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have questions.

Half the power transformers in America are dead. Not aging. Not old. Past their useful life. Running on borrowed time. JP Morgan just classified the US power grid as a national security risk. 50% of distribution transformers are past end of life. Two-thirds of transmission lines are over 25 years old. The backbone of American electricity was built before the internet existed. Now AI needs more power than the grid can physically deliver. Data centers consume 3-4% of US grid capacity today. By 2028 that number hits 10%. And nearly half the data centers scheduled to open this year have already been delayed or canceled. Not because of money. Because there isn't enough electricity. The wait time for a single large power transformer is five years. Critical components are still sourced from China. The most valuable companies on earth are trying to plug into infrastructure that was built when Eisenhower was president. Trump just mandated that AI data center companies produce their own power. Diesel generators. Solar. Batteries. Microgrids. The government is telling trillion-dollar companies to build their own electrical grid because the country's grid can't handle them. OpenAI paused a £31 billion data center project in the UK because electricity costs were 4x higher than the US. The AI buildout isn't bottlenecked by compute. It's bottlenecked by the physical inability to move electrons from a wire to a building. $1 trillion in US grid investment is expected through 2035. A trillion dollars flowing into one sector over 9 years. Almost nobody in retail is positioned for it because "power grid" doesn't sound like a growth story. It's the biggest growth story in the market right now. Where I'm putting money. Transformer manufacturers are the bottleneck play. Eaton (ETN), Hubbell (HUBB), and GE Vernova (GEV) build the transformers, switchgear, and grid equipment every utility and data center needs. Five-year backlogs mean five years of locked-in revenue. Not speculative demand. Booked demand. Quanta Services (PWR) and MasTec (MTZ) physically build transmission lines and grid infrastructure. Every dollar of the $1 trillion spend flows through contractors like these before it reaches the ground. Utilities in data center corridors are printing. Dominion Energy (D) serves Northern Virginia, the largest concentration of data centers on earth. NextEra (NEE) is building renewable capacity specifically to serve data center contracts. Natural gas producers benefit from Trump's mandate directly. If data centers build their own power with gas turbines, they need fuel. EQT is the largest natural gas producer in the US and trades at a fraction of what an "AI-adjacent" label would give a software company. The AI trade has been NVDA and hyperscalers for 3 years. The next leg is the physical infrastructure that makes AI possible. Wires. Transformers. Gas. Concrete. The unsexy stuff nobody talks about because it doesn't have a chatbot attached to it. The market is always changing and you don't have the time to track it. I've decided to run a 100% FREE webinar to discuss market moves and how to adapt and make money from real world events. Link is in comments.

India is increasingly less relevant in the emerging geopolitical contest between the U.S., on the one hand, and China, Iran, and Russia. It is their choice. Sadly, India was hugely relevant and non-aligned in the past under Prime Ministers Jawahar Lal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and even Manmohan Singh.

If one only paid attention to the Indian media and on line comments, it would be reasonable to conclude that India wants the Islamabad peace talks to fail, just to spite Pakistan. This shows how warped public discourse has become due to India's fixation on its neighbor.

I hated the ICICI NRO/NRE banking experience so much that I closed my account today. I already knew Indian banking isn’t great, but I assumed a top bank like ICICI would be manageable. I was wrong. The experience was terrible. I don’t understand how people regularly use these accounts. - The app fails to work most of the time. - ICICI representatives sometimes call me in the middle of the night just to check if everything's okay. - They ask me to redo KYC every year. That’s fine, but the process is outdated. I had to download forms, fill them manually, sign with ink, print documents, and attest everything. It feels like 2015. - I get account closure warnings every six months if I don’t use it. This might make sense for regular accounts, but not for NRE accounts. I live in the US and don’t use it often. These limits shouldn’t apply as long as there’s sufficient balance. To keep it active, I had to make a ₹1 transaction. Since the app doesn’t work, I had to log in through the website. - Until recently, they didn’t allow password manager autofill. I had to manually type a 14-character random password every time. There are many more issues I’m probably forgetting. Overall, a very frustrating experience. If you had good experience with any others Indian banks with NRE/NRO accounts please let me know.

I 100% believe this because the past year or so in I would see Indians arriving at the central train station in Amsterdam or around the airport train station behaving like it was their first day on earth. One example, I saw an Indian woman who was scared to use the escalator, looking at it like she saw water burn, while holding up many people behind her who were trying to exit the train platform.
ℜ𝔞𝔢@dystopiangf

I recently took an international flight into the US, and it was really strange. The flight was full of Indians who honestly seemed to be from somewhere pretty remote; it was obvious quite a few of them had never been on an airplane before. The woman next to me didn’t know how to buckle her seatbelt; she didn’t know how to put her bag in the overhead storage; she had a phone charger she didn’t know how to plug in either. She couldn’t really speak English beyond “You help.” when she wanted me to help her do something or “You want?” while repeatedly pointing down — I figured out she was trying to trade seats with me (I said no, and she just clicked her tongue in disapproval). I saw various interactions between the Indians in the seats around me and the flight attendants — none of them could speak English, using primarily hand gestures to communicate; they were also extremely dismissive and almost rude to the flight attendants, never thanking them, shoving trash in their faces expectantly, waving them away with a flick of the wrist. The bathroom situation was pretty unfortunate. I wanted to pee before we took off, and I was behind two of them in line. They both went, and when it was my turn, I saw that the most recent person hadn’t flushed, leaving a large amount of fecal matter in the toilet bowl. There was also a new hand soap dispenser which was still unopened, which informed me that the two previous passengers had not washed their hands. And, I kid you not, there were footprints on the toilet seat. I think they were squatting over it. None of this is to pick on random people on a flight — I was just struck by how unfamiliar this cohort was with airplanes, by their total lack of English, by their non-Western behaviors and clothes, and by the fact that despite all of this, they were somehow flying to the US (final destination unknown). They were not a unified group either; I didn’t get the impression that the different families/individuals knew each other. If it was just a single family, it might not be that weird, but it was dozens. I had never seen anything like it before

About a month ago I built a new portfolio around the companies that make AI chips possible. Not the designers, but the infrastructure behind them. The stocks: $AMKR, $PLAB, $CLS, $ASX, $FN, $ONTO The portfolio is up 19% in ONE month. Everyone talks about $NVDA, but the real picks and shovels of the AI chip boom are in packaging (AMKR, ASX), contract manufacturing (CLS, FN), photomasks (PLAB), and process control equipment (ONTO). People keep asking why I chose these, so I had Perplexity Computer run a deep dive analysis on all six... 8 quarters of financials, gross/operating/net margin trends, debt and liquidity ratios, institutional ownership changes, insider buying and selling, full earnings call transcripts, beat/miss history, analyst price targets and recent upgrades, current valuation multiples vs 3 year historical averages, supply chain and geopolitical risk, capacity expansion stress tests, and a composite undervaluation ranking with the math shown. This is not financial advice, just a deep look at a sector I believe will outperform the broader market for the next decade.
