@JimFergusonUK Trump destroyed any trust long ago and to be fair, europe hung in there hoping it would get better for longer than expected. It didn't get better. The choice is either to be bullied by an ally that will keep damaging your country on a whim or move on. Best to move on.

🚨 FIVE EYES UNDER THREAT — TRUST IS FRACTURING The warnings are now out in the open. U.S. lawmakers are openly questioning intelligence sharing with European allies — including the UK. This isn’t just about NATO anymore. This hits the core of the Five Eyes — the most sensitive intelligence network on Earth. The concern? Trust. If allies are seen as: • Unreliable • Politically unstable • Reluctant to act Then intelligence sharing becomes a risk — not a strength. And right now, under Keir Starmer, the UK is being viewed in some circles as exactly that. This is how alliances break: Not with announcements…But with doubt. If Five Eyes fractures…The global intelligence balance shifts overnight.

@Jenny_1884 Give me one example of how the US has had anyone's back this past year. All they have done is crash everyone's economies several times, threaten invasion, bomb countries to steal resources, and insult and belittle every country on earth.

@WallStreetMav Seeing all of these Israeli bots pushing the "back out of NATO" narrative is disturbing. Its like Israel is an abusive husband trying to isolate the US from the rest of the world to maintain control over it.

We don't need to have so many troops in Europe. We have 50 bases in Europe and 84,000 troops there. Then we get grief whenever we want to use our planes from those bases. Maybe we should close the bases in the countries that are causing problems for us. Bring home 75% of the troops and let them spend their paychecks in the USA.
@amuse@amuse

NATO: Trump doesn't need to withdraw from NATO just yet, but he ought to shutter our bases and bring our 100,000 troops back home. We shouldn't spend $20B/yr and risk their lives to provide Europea a tripwire against Russian aggression. x.com/amuse/status/2…

@DanielBordmanOG The US cant take the strait of hormuz. Hence why Trump first begged for help, then passive aggressively begged for help. No one answered the call. Why would they when Trump has done nothing but damage the worlds economy several times, threaten invasions, and steal resources?

It would be so funny if the US took the Strait of Hormuz and started charging France and all the other snooty Europeans who sided with the IRGC double what that regime was charging them to get a tanker through.

@WhiteHouse Actions speak louder than words. This war of choice is hurting every person and every company in America with the exception of the oil companies that donated hundreds of millions to Trumps campaign. That's the point of this war. To make profit for Trumps buddies at our expense.

@MarioNawfal Many people have said Trump would end up starting World War 3. I never believed it, but now I'm starting to America has hurt and is hurting allied nations with disturbing regularity, bombing countries to steal resources, and attempting to bully the entire world It wont end well

@ianmiles Then why is it whenever any influencer or organisation publicly disapproves of Israels actions they get doxxed and smeared? Why do US congressmen push Israeli interests over those of their constituents? The influence is real, and it needs to end.

@0IvankaTrumpRV2 America has acted more like an enemy than an ally for the past year, going so far as to threaten to invade Europe. I have friends who believe Trump will start World War 3. I didn't believe it myself, but I'm starting to.

Europe screwed up with Iran. They thought they’d flex a little and it backfired. I’m betting we are no longer a member of NATO by the end of Trump’s term. And I am 100% COOL WITH THAT!!

@WhiteHouse What it signals is that the foundations of economic reporting have been undermined by funding cuts resulting in large corrections every month. Job growth is "basically zero" according to the federal reserve. I trust them over Trump anyday.

@WhiteHouse Defunding the agencies responsible for creating the reports has resulted in huge corrections every month. What Trump doesn't mention is that the large increase this month is due to overcounting from previous months. Job gains are "basically zero" - Federal reserve.

@KrisztinaMaria Iran wasnt even close to nuclear weapons. Trump just wanted that oil, and Israel duped him into thinking it would be a cakewalk. The attack came at the expense of every person on the planet. This energy shock is the worst in history.

Everyone who says it doesn’t matter if Iran acquires nuclear weapons should have a serious conversation with reality. “It’s just a small bomb somewhere far away.” “Iran has the right to defend itself.” “It’s only Israel that has a problem.” No. It’s our problem. Everyone’s problem. And to all those who still claim “Iran didn’t even have nuclear weapons” or “they weren’t even close”… Wake up. According to the IAEA, before the attacks in 2025 Iran had accumulated hundreds of kilograms of uranium enriched to 60% - only a small technical step away from the 90% needed to make nuclear weapons. That was enough to produce material for several bombs in a very short time. Denying this is either naive or deliberate misinformation. Before Trump, seven Democratic and Republican presidents said that Iranian extremists must be prevented from getting their hands on these weapons of mass destruction. Now the media and the Democrats suddenly seem indifferent. That tells you everything about what is really going on. Because it is now Trump who has acted decisively and put a stop to the threat, it is suddenly “wrong.” The same political move, the same objective that previous presidents have had, is being condemned simply because the man behind it is named Donald Trump. It is not about the actual political decision or about protecting the West from a nuclear-armed theocracy. It is about a deep, personal, emotional, and media-created hatred of one man - a hatred so strong that it overrides logic, security policy, and common sense. A nuclear-armed Iran would give the Iranian regime - and its allied militias - a military immunity that no other power in the Middle East possesses. They could threaten and control the entire region, threaten Europe with rockets and terrorism, and do whatever they wanted without any real resistance. And if they were to honestly say out loud what their dream is, it is not only about Israel. It is about a Shia caliphate, where people like you and me become second-class citizens in our own Europe. Those who close their eyes to this are the same people who never want to talk about the obvious connection: the left-wing naivety and the genuinely anti-Western attitudes that today actively support the Islamic movement in Europe. They actually share a common project: to break down the traditional family - the foundation of society - economic self-determination (freedom instead of control), and the Western civilization as we know it. That is why we all should all be deeply grateful that Donald Trump is back in the White House. So thank you - because someone finally dares to act instead of just talking nicely about - and defending against real threats that can change our children’s future forever. This is not a distant Middle Eastern conflict. It is an existential threat to the world we want to pass on. ❤️‍🔥🪽
