@4TheLoveOfTerra @GuntherEagleman Right. So stating that Dems are holding it hostage is not accurate. When the argument begins as disingenuous what’s the expectation?

@_jdstro @GuntherEagleman That bill only funds part of DHS, it excludes ICE and Border Patrol. The House already passed a full funding bill. It’s sitting in the Senate and needs 60 votes. So no…this isn’t just Republicans “blocking TSA.” It’s a funding standoff.

🚨 LFG! Trump has ordered a FULL SURGE! ICE agents rolling into major U.S. airports TOMORROW, to lock down security and back up TSA while Dems keep their DHS shutdown hostage game going! Border Czar Tom Homan is personally in charge of the operation!

This TSA catastrophe is the Democrat Party in a nutshell. They are directly causing immense hardship for American citizens, all for the sake of foreign invaders who don’t belong in this country. This is their Foreigners First ideology perfectly illustrated.

⁨We’ve all seen the chaos unleashed by Democrats at airports across the country. It’s preposterous that Chuck Schumer continues to hold TSA funding hostage. Thankfully, ICE will bring sanity to our airports starting tomorrow, but it’s far past time for Democrats to fund DHS.

@JDVance What? Is your party actually not in charge or just very weak leadership? 🤔 I’d quit my job if I sucked so bad.

32,882 U.S. veterans were homeless in 2024. 13,851 were sleeping on the streets. (Source: HUD / VA Point-in-Time Count) While Democrat-run cities pour billions into failed policies, the people who fought for this country are still left without a home. That’s not compassion—that’s broken priorities. Take care of our veterans first. 🇺🇸 #EndVeteranHomelessness

That’s not true, buddy. The **VA made real, substantial strides** in combatting veteran homelessness primarily under the **Obama administration** (2009–2017), when the most significant and sustained reductions occurred, setting the foundation for ongoing progress. Key historical trends from official HUD/VA Point-in-Time (PIT) counts (annual snapshot of homelessness on a single night in January): - In 2010 (early Obama era), veteran homelessness stood at around 76,000. - By 2016 (still under Obama), it had dropped nearly 50% from 2010 levels, with announcements highlighting a 47% decline by 2016 and continued sharp annual reductions (e.g., 17% drop from 2015 to 2016). - Overall, from 2010 to around 2016–2017, reductions were dramatic—often described as cutting veteran homelessness nearly in half—driven by initiatives like expanded HUD-VASH vouchers, Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF), Housing First approaches, and increased funding/VA-community partnerships under Obama's priority to end veteran homelessness. Subsequent administrations built on this: - Under Trump (2017–2021), the downward trend largely leveled off or saw slower/mixed progress, with some years showing modest declines but no major acceleration comparable to the Obama-era drops. Homelessness ticked up slightly in certain metrics toward the end of his first term. - Under Biden (2021–2025), further reductions continued, reaching record lows: e.g., 32,882 veterans experiencing homelessness in the January 2024 PIT count (a 7.5% drop from 2023, 11.7% from 2020, and over 55% from 2010). VA housed record numbers annually (e.g., nearly 48,000 in FY 2024, over 134,000 since FY 2022), crediting sustained efforts, funding boosts, and programs like HUD-VASH. The largest percentage declines and momentum started under Obama, with the long-term ~55–56% drop since 2010 often attributed to policies initiated then. Progress has been bipartisan in execution but originated as a key Obama-era goal. As of March 2026, the lowest recorded PIT counts remain from recent years (post-2024 data would reflect ongoing or Trump-second-term efforts, but the foundational "real strides" align with the Obama period's transformative reductions). Sources include official VA news releases, HUD AHAR reports, and USICH announcements.

Incredible: Sam Seidel is a graphic design major on the @BGSU_Baseball squad. He helped design the new outfield wall at Stellar Field. Today, at the team's home opener, Seidel hit a GRAND SLAM over the wall he helped design. "The baseball gods were smiling on us today"

Do you ever look at your congressional rep’s website to see what they’ve been doing & just sigh? This may be the weakest collective body of legislators ever assembled.
