A 4,000 km radius from Tehran stretches deep into Africa, reaching across the Horn and into East Africa.
To put this into perspective:
🇪🇹 Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) is about 3,200 km from Tehran
🇸🇴 Mogadishu (Somalia) is about 3,700–3,800 km away
🇸🇸 Juba (South Sudan) sits just under 4,000 km
🇰🇪 Nairobi (Kenya) is just beyond that range at around 4,300–4,400 km
What this means is that within a 4,000 km reach, most of the Horn of Africa and parts of East Africa fall squarely within range, with countries like Kenya sitting just at the edge of that radius.
This is not a distant geography.
It is within the same regional neighborhood, from the Middle East into Africa’s eastern corridor.

I've been saying it and I'll say it again, the average Kenyan is not smart. Kenyans are idiots. Ruto will start running around in church asking for forgiveness and Kenyans will forgive him. They'll say only God has the power to hold him accountable for his sins, not them.
FREESUDAN 🇸🇩@Nefertittie_
I fail to understand, as a Kenyan who has suffered through these last 4 years of Ruto’s regime. What would possess someone to say tutam? Ama mimi ndio niko Kenya ingine ?

@_low_KeyGr8 @Ademba_47 You are using reverse psychology to sell a defeatist agenda. Rigging in Kenya is almost impossible as number at the polling station are final.

DEATH AT THE AIRPORT
The Wagalla massacre remains one of the most disturbing episodes in the history of Kenya, a moment when the state turned on its own people with chilling brutality.
In February 1984, security forces moved into Wajir under the claim that they were pursuing illegal firearms. Instead, they rounded up hundreds of Somali men from the Degodia clan and forced them onto the Wagalla airstrip. What happened there was not an operation. It was punishment.
The men were held for days in the open under extreme heat. They were denied water, beaten, and subjected to degrading treatment. Many were forced to lie on the ground for hours. Those who showed weakness or resisted were shot. Others died slowly from dehydration and exhaustion. There was no urgency to save lives. There was no attempt at basic humanity.
The official figures given at the time were suspiciously low, suggesting only a small number of deaths. Survivors, however, have consistently described a far larger loss of life, with bodies buried in mass graves and families left without answers. For years, the truth was avoided, softened, or ignored entirely by those in power.
What followed was just as troubling. There was no immediate accountability. No swift justice. Only silence and delay. It took decades before any formal acknowledgment emerged, and even then, it came wrapped in careful language that avoided full responsibility.
The reality is difficult to escape. The victims were unarmed civilians. The force used against them was overwhelming. The suffering was prolonged. Whether one calls it a security failure or something far worse, the outcome was the same. Citizens died at the hands of those meant to protect them.

With all the funding Zakayo has been putting into statehouse, that may be East Africa's most guarded fortress and bunker.
