I love that the two biggest hit movies in theatres right now are about the benefits of co-existence and recognising the need to work together, even if it's a different species or from another galaxy, to solve a problem affecting the planet.

Simple baptism idea: let each person bring someone to the water with them. 1. Pastor does the baptism. 2. Their person hands them the towel as they come out of the water. 3. One line from the pastor gives the church context: "This is Trish. She's joined today by her mom, Hannah." Most people come to faith through a relationship. This honors that. You come out of the water into new faith and there's the person that helped you get there with open arms.

@BradyShearer There needs to be a tutorial out there for church filmmakers. Many of them don’t know how to articulate what they want from people in these types of videos. 😵‍💫

Most baptism testimonies are too long and the person is too nervous. Not their fault. It's a big moment and we're asking them to also be a public speaker. Try this instead. One question: "What's the moment everything changed for you?" You get the real story in 30 seconds. You can film it before. Or do it live on the mic. Both work.

There’s this endearing quality about Hoopers that stays with you long after you’ve watched it! It kind of reminded me of Arrested Development, the TV show. IYKYK. The recurring gags are soooo good! 😂
