@CTVVancouver There comes a point when we all wonder if it’s worth being in business at all, if people want to return a sofa because the cushions are feather instead of foam. It could just as easily be the reverse. If I had a difficult customer like this, I’d replace the inserts for them.

@Dave_Eby Here’s something that matters to British Columbians. Protect our citizens from getting attacked on the streets! Build a mental health institution that helps the people with mental issues, but mostly the public who are in constant danger- sentence and incarcerate the perpetrators.

I’ve just been briefed on this incident and am relieved that a suspect has been taken into custody. Thank you to @VancouverPD officers for their quick action and we will provide any required resources towards this investigation.

We are investigating two serious incidents downtown this morning between 7:30 and 7:45. No arrests have been made and it is unknown if the incidents are connected. Extra VPD officers are patrolling. Crime scenes are at W. Georgia and Hamilton, and near W. Georgia and Homer Street. We will provide more info when available.

You never know what a simple jaywalking stop can lead to. Last night, one of our officers stopped a man near Fell Ave and W 3rd St. Not only was he jaywalking, but he was also casually sipping on a beer can! After some checks, it was revealed he had a warrant and was under conditions not to be in North Van. He was arrested and held to see a judge.
