Can you believe there are elected officials like this who are supposed to be on our side? He is talking about these foreigners "building lives" in America. This moron doesn't know the T in TPS stands for temporary.
Congressman Rich McCormick, MBA MD@RepMcCormick
I voted to extend TPS for Haitians because I cannot, in good conscience, send people who were lawfully granted protection here, followed our laws, and built lives under our rules back to rape, murder, and chaos in a lawless Haiti. This is completely separate from amnesty or illegal immigration. Conflating the two is dangerous.

🚨 JUST IN: Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is being praised nationwide for dropping this TRUTH on leftism and "progressivism"
"Progressivism seeks to replace the basic premises of the Declaration of Independence, and hence our form of government. It holds that our rights and our dignities come not from God, but from government."
"It requires of the people a subservience and weakness incompatible with a constitution premised on the transcendent origin of our rights."
You NAILED IT, Justice Thomas! 🇺🇸
This guy is the true GOAT.

@RepDonBacon @ThraceAlex @AlaskaNorseman @OmahaChamber I hear another in Congress asking to be primaried.
English

@ThraceAlex @AlaskaNorseman @OmahaChamber I will vote my Christian and American values. You’ve convinced me now to look at Venezuela and El Salvador TPS. Thanks.

Removing TPS status for Haitians living in the United States would cost 350,000 workers their ability to work at a time when we’re already facing serious workforce shortages. I’ve heard from healthcare providers and business leaders across Nebraska, including @OmahaChamber, who are concerned about the impact this would have on patient care and our economy. I don’t see the goodness of deporting people who are here legally, working, and contributing to our country.

Rep. McCormick,
Your "good conscience" is misplaced and your argument collapses under basic facts.
TPS for Haiti is not "temporary protection" for people who "followed our laws." It was designated in 2010 after an earthquake. It is now sixteen years later. Temporary means temporary, not a sixteen year backdoor to permanent residency. Congress never approved this as amnesty, yet here we are with 350,000+ holders getting work permits anyway.
Conflating this with "illegal immigration" is not "dangerous." It is accurate. DHS's own Entry/Exit Overstay Reports show Haitian B-1/B-2 visa overstays at 31%. Many were already here illegally or overstayed before TPS kicked in. "Lawfully granted" after breaking the rules first is not virtue. It is a loophole.
They "built lives under our rules"? Center for Immigration Studies analysis of Census data shows Caribbean non-citizen households have around 65% welfare usage rates: food stamps, Medicaid, housing subsidies, EITC. That is not self-sufficiency. It is a net drain on American taxpayers while citizens face inflation, housing shortages, and strained services.
Pro-immigration groups tout a "$5.9B economic contribution," but that is gross, before the massive fiscal costs, remittances sent abroad, and welfare. Net result: America loses.
Haiti is a "lawless" disaster of gangs, rape, murder, and 1.4M+ displaced? Undeniable. But that is Haiti's problem to solve, not ours forever. We are not the world's permanent welfare office or dumping ground. Sending people back is not cruelty. It is enforcing the law and prioritizing Americans. Recent cases of Haitian TPS or gang-linked crime prove the chaos follows them here too.
This vote directly defies the Trump administration's termination and the America First mandate voters delivered. You did not "protect law-abiding people." You rewarded a failed program that encourages more illegal entries and burdens citizens.
Georgians did not elect you to play conscience for Haiti. They elected you for secure borders, mass deportations, and America First. This betrayal will not be forgotten in 2028.
Primary time.

VIDEO: Biden Illegal Wanted for Murder Drags Florida Trooper Into Fence
A gangbanger fleeing murder charges in Jamaica was taken into custody after nearly killing a Florida Highway Patrol trooper, authorities say.
The harrowing bust unfolded in Jacksonville on Mar. 31, but footage and details were just released on Tuesday.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), working alongside state and local partners, pulled over a white minivan driven by 32-year-old Ragar Mandela Allen, a criminal illegal alien from Jamaica and member of the Craig Town Gang.
While troopers and officers were questioning Allen, he accelerated forward in an attempt to escape.
An FHP trooper who was standing at the driver’s window was dragged down the residential street and slammed into a fence.
He was taken to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Allen was arrested and hit with a slew of charges, including aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, felony fleeing and eluding, possession of a stolen firearm, alien in possession of a firearm, and illegal reentry after deportation.
Additionally, ICE lodged a detainer against Allen, indicating he will be turned over to federal authorities following his criminal proceedings.
Allen was first apprehended by U.S. Border Patrol after illegally crossing the southern border in December 2021 near San Ysidro, California.
He was subsequently deported in April 2022, but slipped back into the U.S. at an unknown location and date.
On Mar. 27, ICE was made aware that Allen had returned to the U.S. and he was tracked down days later.
“This gang member wanted for murder in his origin country is out of our communities because of ICE and our Florida partners. This criminal illegal alien was in illegal possession of a firearm and drugs at the time of his arrest. He attempted to evade arrest by weaponizing his vehicle and dragged a law enforcement officer, injuring him. Thankfully, the officer is expected to make a full recovery," said DHS Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis.
“As our officers put their lives on the line to arrest the worst of the worst, they are facing a more than 1,300% increase in assaults and a 3,300% increase in vehicle attacks. The arrest of this fugitive murderer would not have been possible without the help of our Florida law enforcement partners.”

California is trying to pass a bill that would criminalize investigative journalism with misdemeanors, $10,000 fines, imprisonment, and content takedown.
The proposed bill is titled AB 2624 and was made after I exposed mass fraud by immigrant groups in America.
Under AB 2624, government-funded entities like the Somali “Learing” Daycare centers would be protected from being exposed if they operated inside California.
The enemy truly is within. When our politicians would rather protect fraudsters and illegal migrants, it’s time for us to stand up or face mass oppression from the traitors who “rule” over us.

@libsoftiktok Why are the f*ckers still driving our semi’s?
Check all the drivers at every weigh station; pull ‘em out and send them back to where they came from.
Then fine the hell out of the trucking company that employed them.

@realmuckraker The government should never tax Americans to give it away to anyone, but especially to foreign governments. Let charity be given voluntarily and through the churches. Read "The Tragedy of American Compassion" for more details.

@RealDonKeith Abolish the 16th amendment to stop the funding of the grift. Let the rich steal from other rich, and leave the regular Americans out of the equation.
English

🚨Wow! Major Trump-Vance policy shift just dropped:
Foreign aid will now go straight to national governments — no more routing billions through NGOs.
This cuts out the middlemen who’ve turned taxpayer dollars into their own bloated business model.
Effect on NGOs: Many will see their funding evaporate overnight. Expect mass layoffs, shrinking budgets, and some outfits shutting down entirely.
The entire aid-industrial complex just took a body blow — no more endless grift.
America First is finally hitting the middlemen where it hurts.

@RealDonKeith @SuitablePolitic The NGOs are awful, but the U.S. should stop sending foreign aid altogether.

That is exactly why I introduced the EXILE Act to END the H-1B visa program.
