@PokemonTCGP dropped this game recently bc every item is kinda common.. :( no limited cool collectibles like it is with IRL cards. You can get almost every item when u spend enough money. correct way would be: drop pack - keep them in for a year - take em out - never bring em back pls

Valve trying to crash skin prices below 2000$ so they get more steam sales has to be the most bullshit thing ive ever heard. I think this is the real reasons behind all these tradeup updates. ⤵️

@trademint exactly they are finding workarounds so their system doesnt count as gambling the prices can be unrealistic as long as its "legal" you know

@friendlycsss but they can put a patch on the wound, that’s why they are doing dynamic pricing and terminals, so essentially make a rarity system without the gambling aspect so in case more people jump on it they are prepared

@friendlycsss What i think is that they don’t want too much attention from governmental agencies because of skins would reach unrealistic price (essentially created via gambling) they would just regulate it or totally remove it (which is essentially self-destruction)

@MrSh3riff The steam workshop got a complete rework a few weeks before bc it was outdated so i think they might have also just updated the market bc it was laggy and outdated if it would have only been the market then it would be sus

@friendlycsss I think there’s a lot of truth to it, but it’s also important to note that the biggest update ever for the community market came very soon after these events. So there’s a connection to the fact that they want items to be sold primarily on Steam and also want to keep a larger cut

@friendlycsss To be honest: That Valve wanna crash prices to get under the 2k range is the most logical thing I have heard regarding the updates. Then you bring the tradeup update "because of restrictions" but a red tradeup is the same gambling like opening a case. You dont know what you get.

@dillah4u i feel like it will be possible for all sorts of packs,cases,capsules but mostly i feel like its just for the countrys that cant open souvenir packs or sticker capsules like germany for cases they introduced xray but the rest is basically not useable for those countrys

@friendlycsss Converting cases to terminals is more likely than converting souvenir packages or capsules because they don't require a key or additional cost to open them, unlike cases.

@verde5_official 90% just against scammers and i guess 10% so people cant panic sell their items after those massive economy one shot updates

@nicecs2 Sure its a problem but by "crashing" the entire economy this problem wouldnt get solved. give people the option to cashout and lower the fees then ud solve the problem 2000$ in steambalance is literally worthless balance
