@nicksortor No one is above the law. Comey is getting what he deserves.
English

@MsYTHicks @LawrenceBJones3 Damned straight it is worth it. The blatant disregard for the rule of law must stop

Federal prosecutors are notorious for employing every available tool to exert the full force of the government against Americans . If they lack sufficient evidence to secure a conviction, they resort to pressure tactics, targeting family members and seizing assets. When these methods fail, they resort to exploiting outdated statutes to obtain a conviction. The most infamous example is the Southern District of New York, where James Comey served as the US attorney. Today, he is experiencing the very tools he used against other Americans for decades. As FBI Director, he later weaponized the justice system using these same tools. There’s a lesson to be learned here, but I doubt he will recognize it.

@mcdonaldsussr @ByMarkDaniels Funny that it only impacted Baringer. But cool story
English

@gregcap74 @ByMarkDaniels The playoffs that had 2 horrid weather games?
English

@LosTalksPats Going in with Baringer as the punter with no serious competition should be a fireable offense after his playoff performance last year
English

The #Patriots 2026 Draft Class:
1.28 | OT Caleb Lomu (Utah)
2.55 | ED Gabe Jacas (Illinois)
3.95 | TE Eli Raridon (Notre Dame)
5.171 | CB Karon Prunty (Wake Forest)
6.196 | OT Dametrious Crownover (Texas A&M)
6.212 | LB Namdi Obiazor (TCU)
7.234 | QB Behren Morton (Texas Tech)
7.245 | RB Jam Miller (Alabama)
7.247 | ED Quintayvious Hutchins (Boston College)
What’s your initial grade? ⬇️

English

@PhilAPerry Apparently they are happy with their atrocious punting situation? Does Baringer have blackmail photos or something?
English

@RealAlexBarth So no competition for Baringer. Absolute deriliction of duty. Awful
English

Well-rounded 'will take what's given to him' back who should compete for the RB3 spot in camp. Also has special teams coverage experience.
Doug Kyed@DougKyed
The Patriots selected Alabama RB Jam Miller 245th overall in the 2026 NFL Draft.
English

@MikeReiss So apparently no need to bring competition for the punter who had multiple punts under 30 yards. Disgusting. Apparently they don't care
English

The #Patriots draft Alabama RB Jam Miller with their second-to-last pick in the draft (No. 245). Good frame, 4.42-speed, and special teams experience.
Another back to compete for RB3.
English

@PhilAPerry But they are cool with a punter who can't punt it 40 yards in the playoffs. Cool
English

The Patriots go with a quarterback in the seventh round. Behren Morton was a two-year starter and captain for the Red Raiders. Went 26-10 as a starter.
New England Patriots@Patriots
Red Raider to the Pats ✨ @BehrenMorton | @TexasTechFB
English

The #Patriots select Texas Tech QB Behren Morton with the 234th overall pick.
At 6-2, 221, Morton has some off-platform throwing ability and pocket mobility. Pats get their QB3 behind starter Drake Maye and top backup Tommy DeVito.
English

@MikeReiss Are we really going to roll with Beringer again next year? WTF
English

@RealAlexBarth We're going to have another year or Baringer, aren't we. 🤮
English

Athletic, high motor linebacker who made the switch from safety during college. Reliable tackler at 6-2, 229. Will compete for a 3rd down role, and should be a regular on special teams.
Brian Hines@iambrianhines
The Patriots are drafting TCU LB Namdi Obiazor.
English

The #Patriots traded out of No. 191. They got No. 196 and No. 245. Resetting their picks: 6.196, 6.198, 6.212, 7.245, 7.247.
English

@LosTalksPats I'm upset because we currently have a punter who is a weapon for the opposing team and we would rather waste picks on a guy who will be lucky to make the practice squad
English

@Docofthewild1 @PhilAPerry Sadly that was done with Vrabel in the room. But he couldn't keep it in his pants so he bailed on his team for counseling that HAD to happen TODAY. So no I don't trust the guy who is in charge today
English

@gregcap74 @PhilAPerry Again, getting worked up over a 5th rounder is embarrassing. I’ll take the organization that went from 4 wins to the Super Bowl over some rando on twitter every day.
