No. He won by ~43,000 votes across Wisconsin, Arizona, and Georgia. Flip those and he loses. To say Biden barely won in 2020 is objectively accurate.

If you claim that ""they"" are replacing the white race, I'm happy to label you not only a racist, but a fascist. This is the key difference from Trump I and Trump II. He was authoritarian and ultranationalist, but not radicalized before 2020. Now MAGA is fascism

I saw this movie wildly late in life for someone raised evangelical (my parents were NOT happy at the fact that youth group kids were watching it). So I saw it in my late 20s for a class with @IanNelsonMills and my husband.

@CorenLaVolpe As a Johto lover, it’s impossible to watch these videos and not see the absolute passion for Gen II Smith has. His criticisms are like that of a parody show which expertly roasts its source material in a way that only true die hard fans could. These videos come from deep love.

If you watched the videos you'd see Smith's criticisms are all valid, he's a huge fan of Johto and approached it from a good faith game design perspective.
He even led a project where all the major problems with the games are fixed while still trying to feel like a vanilla game, not a rom hack. Once you play Crystal Legacy, you won't wanna play the original version. It's a love letter.
Growing up is realizing that most pokemon games are not very good and have at least one or two major issues affect the quality of the experience. Wanting them to be better and having the resources to improve them is pretty awesome, actually.

I'm admittedly not steeped in ASOIAF lore but surely Stannis' rightful claim to the throne is deeply undermined by him being in thrall to a foreign priestess who practices blood magic and human sacrifice? That seems more important to worry about than the line of succession.

@suchnerve It's possible for all characters in a story to be villains, one of the most famous examples is The Godfather. There are no heroes in that story (at least not by the end). These words come with lots subtilty depending on how they're used. Many of the greatest stories lean on that.

@suchnerve A big lesson a lot of people need to learn in media literacy is that "hero" is not the same as "protagonist" and "villain" is not the same as "antagonist". Hero and Villain are moral judgements. Protagonist and Antagonist are storytelling devices.

A villain is a character whose primary motives are harmful. The categorization applies regardless of how deserved the harm may be.
