𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗕𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗔 𝟯𝟬 𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝟯𝟬! I am happy to share that I am I made it to the @Forbes 30 under 30 list 2025! This moment is more than a personal milestone, it is a celebration of a journey rooted in struggle, service, and a relentless commitment to justice.

In the company of Amb. Willy Bett, Deputy Amb @MwendeLinai, @PSAhassan and @Joymdivo, I had a productive meeting with Mr. Li Gao, Vice Minister, Ministry of Ecology and Environment, People's Republic of China. We discussed strengthening Kenya–China cooperation on climate action, including linking and enhancing green investments through the Africa Green Industrialization Initiative #AGII and the Accelerated Partnership for Renewables in Africa #APRA. Our discussions also covered priorities for the upcoming COP30 Summit: advancing multilateralism, climate finance, adaptation (Global Goal on Adaptation and adaptation finance), NDCs, strengthening international cooperation and addressing barriers for just and equitable global transitions such as unilateral trade measures. The green energy transition presents a great opportunity for socio-economic transformation. Kenya and China will continue to deepen their collaboration under South-South cooperation @GWECGlobalWind @ClimateWorks @BloombergDotOrg

A great conversation with Ali D. Mohamed, Chair of the Africa Group Negotiators and Kenya's Special Climate Envoy @AGNChairUNFCCC. We need to connect the dots between the boundless opportunities of #ClimateAction in Africa with the financing needed to take it to the next level.

At the end of the day, we will all have to agree that if our leaders do not deliver our national climate promises, we will fail in achieving our 1.5 goal. Let’s not also forget to hold corporations and fossil fuel companies- the biggest polluters accountable!!!
