A hugely underrated aspect of the Dune universe's appeal is how Frank Herbert built a world where people zip around the galaxy in spaceships but then fight each other with swords and knives. It makes everything 50 percent cooler than a world of ray guns and robots.

The "information being collected" is not from AI it's from every website and app on the internet. The video literally says that, but you're miscontruing it as "AI" being the problem. The AI is just being fed that data. If you have a problem with data collection, you are attacking the wrong thing right now. Which is just another example of why people like you are not technically savvy enough to be involved in shaping this industry. (Nor are your interns who came up with this bit)

I spoke to Anthropic’s AI agent Claude about AI collecting massive amounts of personal data and how that information is being used to violate our privacy rights. What an AI agent says about the dangers of AI is shocking and should wake us up.

I *understand the sentiment. I have no clue what Netanyahu's personal belief(s) are in God, Jesus, etc but as a Christian, I know, and believe this is fallacious. Jesus has already defeated evil. The time between his death, resurrection and now, the world still is, inherently sinful (evil), but, at the second coming, Jesus will make the earth new again, re-instate the Garden, Heaven, etc (there are facets of theological arguments about how, when, etc) but essentially that. Holding the above as truth, in our current state, I don't believe that Jesus would call on nations, states, etc to be pacifists. He calls believers to "go and make disciples", and while institutions and practitioners of institutions like 'The Church' 'missionaries' etc, often evil needs kinetic repelling. In defense of the innocent, poor, downtrodden, etc. Of course that argument can QUICKLY spiral to, *who is that cohort. All that said, just war theory enacts that, basically war can be enacted: - when all peaceful or diplomatic tools have been exhausted (jus ad bellum) - when said response (war) is conducted in an attempt to distinguish between combatants and innocents (jus in bello) - and when peace is quickly given and instituted after war (jus post bellum) Evil does exist. It cannot be diplomatically countered. It must be met with strength.
