Looking to get into @Sonos. Can someone tell me if they will work without internet access but on a network. My setup is an iPad with downloaded music on a network without internet. Spotty internet anyway. #smarthome

Just discovered the glow on the @sharptools_io dashboard to indicate whether a 💡 is on or off also mirrors the color of the bulb. Nice little touch! In this case, an IKEA Trådfri bulb connected to SmartThings.

Last color of the collection. All pieces have arrived for my @home_assistant broadcast system has arrived. At $30 a piece the chromecast was the cheapest programmatically acceasible speaker I could fine. Now to find time to implement!!! Channeling @ccostan skills!

@SmartHomeLaura quick question you might be able to help with or point me in the right direction. I’m looking at pendant lights on the same ceiling with a large ceiling fan. I’m worried about the lights swaying. Any advice?

@nathanframpton @SmartHomeLaura @vfandm Thank you @nathanframpton. I’m sure it’s not an issue but I’m looking into getting a large(ish) fan and surrounding it with half a dozen pendant lights. I’m wondering if putting the lights above the level of the fan or something like that may help or not.

@SmartHomeLaura @liquidmachine @vfandm Sounds like he is concerned about air movement. Depends on weight of pendant, style of mount, speed of airflow, etc. I have never heard this as a complaint, but will check....

@liquidmachine Do you mean because of vibration on the ceiling caused by the fan operation? I have never heard of that happening. @nathanframpton and @vfandm please weigh in: Is this a legit concern?
