I was the Justin Herbert vote. The guy had the worst offensive line in the NFL all season and despite that he was working miracles in almost every single game. Stafford's OL became 2/5ths as bad as Herbert's for 5 minutes and he became a turnover howitzer. He embodied 'value'.

Who started this cover six thing? It’s a pretty rare coverage to base a game plan around. Seattle only called it on 6% of their coverage snaps.

It’s just the same exact thing every single game man… Someone’s getting fired whether you like it or not, maybe not now, but eventually. Maybe not just one person either. You might love Mosley and Weltman, and you might place all the blame on players but that doesn’t matter. Teams with the expectations we had don’t go this long with the same exact problems every single game and zero visible improvement without someone getting the axe. It’s just completely inexcusable to come out this flat to start every. single. game. Then there’s the fact that we turn phenomenal shooters into average shooters, good shooters into bad shooters, and coaches are incapable of actually producing good shooters organically through training & development. The previous couple years this team came out every single night with pride & fought tooth & nail… all of that is gone. The offense is a joke and the defense we once relied on to keep us in any game has completely disintegrated. Good luck with raising season ticket prices when this is the product on the floor.

Not to mention the giant age gap and longevity differential between the two players. With Giannis you really become “Must win NOW” whereas with P5, despite people acting like we are in “must win now” territory, the core itself is locked up for 4+ years and Paolo himself is still years from reaching his prime. Gianni’s’ calf ain’t getting better the further he goes into his 30s and he’s a player who owes a good amount of his ability to dominate to his athleticism, ala Blake Griffin. When the athleticism goes… he’s not turning into Jokic. 🤷‍♂️

@ChrisJanssen I think there are other issues with the roster construction as well but we’ve taken essentially the same core and gotten worse year to year. It’s time for a change.

@QDubz531 If he's going to credit his instincts when they're right, he should be able to admit when they were horribly wrong. In this case, forcing out his long standing head coach to insert a successor he handpicked (and who was completely unprepared & unqualified to lead a team) was bad.

Those same instincts also told you to HIRE Jerod Mayo in the first place because you liked how he acted on vacation, so maybe don’t pat yourself on the back too much there, Bob
