I'm trying it right now, it's cool! Currently, I'm setting my "user preferences" after a little chit-chat with the new assistant 🙂 If it could be useful to anyone, who knows, ask the AI assistant: "Save this to my preferences" "Add [X] to my preferences" "Update my preferences with [X]" And if you want to see your preferences ask (e.g. actual or new Chat): "What are my current preferences?" "Show me my preferences" "What do you know about me?"

@c_valenzuelab "Pumpo ergo sum"! Learning Philosophy in your very last year of school, here in France, is quite something, to say the least. Would be funny if one student name this short film during the final exam in June, when arguing 😀

The amount of latent creativity unlocked by AI is beginning to go parabolic. Any remix of worlds, any strange, surreal, or entirely unique idea you can imagine, you can now instantly see. We’re living in an era of magic, and we barely realize it. Here is René Descartes, staring in The Method.
Jamie@umpherj

"I pump, therefore I am." René Descartes stars in, The Method. aka The Philosophizing Machine. A short reflection made with @runwayml in about 2 hours because philosophy is more fun when it's cinema.

@jnack Didn't know (or remember) this easter egg, damn! Probably my favorite is the one for the famous japanese video game "Katamari" (search for "Katamari" and then click on the animated/bouncing ball and... Just enjoy 🙂)

A few more visual exploration this afternoon, still with ChatGPT Images 2.0, especially testing one with an hybrid old film/painterly look to see how it "goes":

To check if your Google Workspace has been compromised by the same tool that compromised Vercel: 1. Go to admin.google.com/ac/owl/list?ta… - This is Google Admin Console > Security > Access and Data Control > API Controls > Manage app access > Accessed Apps 2. Filter by ID = …v79i7bbvqj.apps.googleusercontent.com - This is the ID of the compromised OAuth app If you see an app after filtering, you have potentially been compromised

"Mediocre work for a big name client is still mediocre work" Indeed, it's just true @thefinnmckenty Having worked on projects for some well-known companies from various industries, these were not always the most "fun", to say the least, or the most relevant to show when talking to other peers or recruiters at some point. Works from smaller companies are sometimes better and you can have some little stories or anecdotes to share (beyond just the "outcome") which are, to me, really cool. For real. And since you also mentioned "personal works" too, it makes sense in a way it helps to know you without telling it with just words: the work speaks for itself. What you really like, what you love create and explore. Some will bring some personal photography stuff, for example. For me, it was (and still is) typography... And now filmmaking (I try, though) 🙂

Put ONLY YOUR BEST WORK in your portfolio. And be absolutely brutal with yourself about what makes the cut. If it’s not a 10/10, take it out. It also doesn’t matter if it’s personal work or a client work. Mediocre work for a big name client is still mediocre work. You’re way better off having a bad ass personal project in there. People don’t actually value “range” or any of that. They want to be blown away by seeing cool shit, that’s it.
techbimbo@jameygannon

my three biggest tips for portfolios: 1. if you are not an INCREDIBLE website designer, you need to use a @framer template. if your website is bad you look like a bad designer, even if you have amazing work. also, get over yourself. you really only need a grid page of images (pretty much what I have) 2. cut the ugly stuff out. in your first 2-4 years as a designer, you should need to turn over the majority of your portfolio every few months (if you are improving at the correct rate) it doesn't matter if your worst project is the last one listed, you are still presenting it as an example of what you would be proud to deliver. 3. SHOW THE WORK SHOW THE WORK SHOW THE WORK do not make me click through 3 pages or scroll eight times to see your stuff. same goes for your X account if you're serious about using it as a lead magnet.

Great interview by @StudioLHC the 5-6 pages reading was really flawless! The following part is, to me, so true: "I'm fascinated by AI's ability to bring back styles that were forgotten or abandoned" We, sometimes, lost track of great aesthetic & visual styles from decades ago now. If there is any possibility to give these ones a second chance, I find this very cool to be honest.

LHC • April 2026 is live 🎬🎞️ (link on bio) But before stepping into the theater: a first. LHC is now available on @cafeyn_fr, the digital newsstand. To mark the occasion, we hid 11 film references in the cover. Find them all, reply in the comments, and you’ll be entered into a draw to win a one-year Cafeyn subscription. Team ► Marine Rondo-Lotto - Jean-Michel FALCIASECCA This issue exists because a kid from Namur ran down the stairs with a DVD in hand. Because directors, lawyers, and profiles coming out of California had something to say about what’s happening to cinema. Jean-Yves le Moine opens with a disruptive idea: AI as machinic maieutics, an active mirror for the filmmaker. @LudovicCreator, @CharaspowerAI, and Julien Cocquerel detail their integration into the VFX pipeline of House of David. Jérôme Genevray refuses sides and chooses the prism. Dan Frydman imagines spaces somewhere between Stargate and a futuristic Egypt. Marine Rondo-Lotto and Jean-Michel Falciasecca reinterpret cult films through fashion. Stéphane Benini and Bruno Detante remind us that generating without intention is just pressing a button. @henrydaubrez , who has gone through a sold agency, cancer, and @GoogleLabs , shares an extraordinary journey. His AI portraits of patients moved Tribeca. We look back at @ElevenLabs Creative Sessions #1 at the Théâtre de l’IA, sold out: 22 teams, @0xSorcier and Fede win first prize. A retrospective on the @Artefact_Global festival: Mark Wachholz takes the Grand Prize with The Cinema That Never Was. Max De Donato and Cokau Lab tie for the Jury Prize. Jiaze Li wins the Audience Award with Arrow. @AnneHorel is awarded for La Tisseuse d’Ombres. Ariel Kotzer and Alix André-Kellershohn complete the lineup. Also featured: our favorites with Analogmirage, Raphael Perrollier, and Yannis Mangematin. Elisha Karmitz (@mk2) closes the section, holding the line between heritage and experimentation. Les Heures Augmentées opens with Claude Mythos Preview, a model considered too effective to be released. Eric Helias goes back to the root of the debates. Nicolas Huvé Kousmichoff introduces Mortimer, his AI agent. @caroingeborn (@LumaLabsAI ), interviewed by @TiKaWo_Crea , announces the end of prompting: we speak to AI like a collaborator. Caroline Thireau and Ludovic Carli test Seedance 2.0 through five crash tests. Aurore Sauviat and Elisa Sobczyk (Lawderis Avocats) raise the legal question everyone avoids. Dynamo Dragan takes on Hollywood. The Counter-Horoscope is back… as always. @laszlogaal_ wins the @runwayml's Big Ad Contest, the AARON Awards, of which we are partners, stream their ceremony live on the 16th and 17th depending on your time zone, and MarSAI launches its call for entries for its festival. The lights dim. The room is full. Enjoy the issue

After reading the article (thanks for providing the direct link, by the way), the following part really caught my attention: "Over time, Firefly AI Assistant will learn your preferences — your most-used tools, workflows, and aesthetic choices — so the more you use it, the more it works like an extension of your creative instincts." I'm quite curious to see how efficient on the long-term it will be, if it can match our own unique design style and "way of thinking" a project 1:1 🙂

If you're an AI creator, you know the drill: Nano Banana for frame refs, Kling 3 Omni for character consistency, then Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects to stitch it all together. What if one AI agent could orchestrate all of it? That's what my team at Adobe is building.

@jforozcop So much poetry in this short film from its story, the rhythm, the black & white choice, the message and I could go on and go on... Really well done @jforozcop First time I watched it, the 36 seconds felt less than 20. Nailing time relativity at this level, it's a gift. Bravo!

@dustinhollywood @NAKIDpictures @escapeaimedia The character design for the aliens remind me a bit the one of the salarian in "Mass Effect", it looks cool! Also, on a more personal note, I wasn't expected here to see a company using the "COCO" typeface I designed years ago for its branding (NAKID Pictures) 🙂
