@bylercrackhouse @BaconBaeritto Respectfully disagree, I personally believe that behavioral suppression and social suppression are much more omnipresent forms of oppression. Also if that's the case, the threat we as black men pose to white woman isn't systemic, it's individual.

@bylercrackhouse Indeed, but she singled out black men when it's universal to all men. This was a clear cut invitation to start looking at black men sideways as a threat to women when black systemic oppression has removed nearly ALL advantages black men have over women who aren't their own.

@Manstarlol Yes, but when people are talking about male privilege, they're usually talking about male patriarchal advantages (in the workplace, social gatherings, healthcare) most of don't apply due to the general perception of black men in America as violent ticking time bombs.

@nee2054 I think privilege isn't a complete ordering, it's partial ordering. You can't compare black men's privilege with white women's privilege but what you can say is that white women can be racist towards black men and black men can be misogynist towards white women. Both are true.

@rcefelon Nobody should. But to specifically imply, as a white woman, that black men have the social leverage to pose a significant threat to womanhood and gender equality beyond their own limited spaces speaks to a GROSS lack of self-awareness.
