🔥STRATEGY BUYS 34,164 BITCOIN FOR $2.5 BILLION🔥 34,164 potential future wholecoiners EVISCERATED in ONE WEEK. Breakdown of the buy: BTC purchased: 34,164 Total purchase size: about $2.54 billion Average purchase price: about $74,395 per BTC New total holdings: 815,061 BTC Total cost basis: about $61.56 billion Average cost basis on all holdings: about $75,527 per BTC BTC Yield YTD 2026: 9.5% How they funded it: STRC sold: 21,795,389 shares STRC gross proceeds: about $2.1795 billion STRC net proceeds: about $2.1763 billion MSTR common sold: 2,165,000 shares MSTR net proceeds: about $366.0 million Total net proceeds raised: about $2.5423 billion They are now over 815k BTC, which is an absolutely monstrous balance sheet. They used a mix of preferred capital + common equity issuance to keep feeding the Bitcoin engine. A 9.5% BTC Yield YTD tells the market this machine is still increasing Bitcoin exposure per share at scale. THIS IS GETTING INSANE.

In one week, @Strategy increased BTC Gain by 82% to $4.97 billion for the year. This reflects the reflexive power of combining appreciating bitcoin (digital capital) with accretive financing (digital credit).

@LizardWizardBTC The best way to predict Bitcoin’s future is to build it. That’s why Saylor was smiling last week. They should discontinue the other preferred stocks, let $MSTR go higher and the convertible debt equitize. Then they would have a zero debt balance sheet and amplification only.

@JesseKobernick Andy mocked $STRC when it launched and dropped from $100 to $92 and even blocked me for pushing back with hard data. This is data pulled from today’s MSTR presentation. Keeps the haters and losers like Andy talking.

Saylor said bitcoin is safer in BlackRock and Fidelity than with self-custody holders. I disagree. BlackRock's custody is with Coinbase Prime. Coinbase Prime is a single point of failure for the largest bitcoin ETF in history. FTX was a regulated custodian. When will people learn...

Strategy is proposing to pay semi-monthly dividends on $STRC, instead of monthly. No change to the annual dividend obligations or dividend rate. These proposed changes are intended to stabilize price, dampen cyclicality, drive liquidity, and grow demand.

@MTanguma The keyword in “money market-like” is like. Just as “it’s like a bank paying 11.5%” doesn’t make it a bank. There are plenty of undercollateralized products and questionable coins out there, yet you’re focused on $STRC? Really?

2/ STRC is not a money market instrument. It's preferred equity with no claim on the Bitcoin. The company's own filing says the preferred securities are "not collateralized by the Company's bitcoin holdings." Calling it "money market-like" is misleading.

@MTanguma @OnrampBitcoin I find it hilarious that these three "cold storage experts" think they’ve thought $STRC through better than Michael Saylor, Phong Le, and Strategy who backed it with 8-K filings, 100+ page disclosures, and scaled it to a $6.9B market cap in under nine months.

@RichardByworth @MTanguma Bingo. STRC is the trade you make when you understand BTC but can’t actually deal with its volatility.

@MTanguma Sorry, you are just not seeing it. For an eighty year retiree, they can believe in bitcoin but want to have a stable return for their remaining years with no stress. STRC covers that capital bucket well.

People are piling into STRC for 11% yield and calling it the smart bitcoin trade. It's not. It's the trade you make when you don't actually believe in bitcoin. This is the first time in history you have money that behaves like an equity instrument, reducing counterparty risk, and carries the upside of every asset class combined. Private credit, venture, growth equity, all of it, wrapped into one thing, BECAUSE we're in the monetization phase. That's the thing everyone misses: you get the downside protection of hard outside money with BTC, with the upside of every asset class you could dream of. We don't get this chance again. 11% keeps pace with inflation. Bitcoin outpaces it. Choose wisely. Full @OnrampBitcoin Last Trade ep below

@halstonvalencia @financialcnspr @bitcoinquant_ I agree. I get STRC and I find it an amazing product, but as an MSTR shareholder, I believe execution has been strong, but there’s a clear underemphasis on MSTR common stock during public appearances that should be corrected.

The preferred shareholders funding this aren’t getting bitcoin upside, $MSTR common holders are. 23,934 BTC so far this week, 760% of mined supply. If you believe in bitcoin, MSTR common is worth understanding.

In an earlier post, I mentioned in connection with STRC that short sellers are “nasty” and highly effective sharks who smell weakness. Little did I know that just two days later, Coffeezilla—a well-known YouTuber focused on crypto scams—put out a lengthy piece about STRC. Coffeezilla isn’t a short seller, but it gives you a taste of what a short attack would look like—great narrative combined with good market timing. Hardcore Bitcoin supporters have attacked Coffeezilla’s video viciously. In my opinion, it raises valid concerns: $STRC is a stock—not a money market–like instrument—and Strategy isn’t a bank. It also criticizes the AI-generated advertising video the company released to attract retail investors. The more I watch the company’s hard-nosed marketing pitches, the more uneasy I get. Bitcoin doesn’t need sleazy marketing tactics or over-engineered financial products to succeed. It’s that simple.
Bitcoin News@BitcoinNewsCom

COFFEEZILLA ON $STRC: “The company has no obligation to pay you back. Why haven't people realized this?" "My entire problem is that they're leading people like a pied piper with this kind of ludicrous idea.”
